Merion Friends Meeting House

The General Wayne Inn in Merion, Pennsylvania is a former tavern. It has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1976. Established in 1704, it was previously named the William Penn Inn, Wayside Inn, Tunis Ordinary, and Streepers Tavern before being renamed in 1793 in honor of American Revolutionary War hero General "Mad" Anthony Wayne, who had once stayed there.

American Poetry Center was founded in 1983 to bring the Spoken Word to a wide range of audiences. In southeastern Pennsylvania on April 4, 1991, a Piper Aerostar propeller-driven aircraft collided in mid-air with a Bell 412 helicopter over Merion Elementary School in Lower Merion Township, a suburb northwest of Philadelphia. All five people in both aircraft were killed, including United States Senator John Heinz, the sole passenger of the Piper. Two school children on the ground were also killed by falling debris. In addition to the seven fatalities, five more people on the ground were injured. An investigation discovered the cause of the accident to be poor judgment and pilot error of the crews from both aircraft.

Narberth station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Narberth, Pennsylvania. Located at Haverford and Narberth Avenues in Narberth, Pennsylvania, it serves most Paoli/Thorndale Line trains with the exception of several express runs. The station was rebuilt around 1980 in a minimalist style common to that era, replacing a dilapidated wooden structure, under an agreement between SEPTA and the Narberth Borough Council, championed by Narberth Councilman Bharat Bhargava. The Ivy Ridge station was also built in the same style. A train crash occurred on the curve here on November 21, 1984 injuring 150 people.The ticket office at this station is open weekdays 6:15 a.m. to 1:35 p.m. excluding holidays. There are 111 parking spaces at the station, with 3 bicycle racks accommodating up to 15 bicycles. This station is in fare zone 2 and is 6.8 track miles from Suburban Station. In 2017, the average total weekday boardings at this station was 714, and the average total weekday alightings was 713.

Narbrook Park Historic District, also known as Narberth Garden, is a national historic district located in Narberth, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It encompasses 51 contributing buildings, one contributing structure and one contributing site in the planned garden suburb of Narbrook Park. It was developed between 1915 and 1938. The dwellings reflect a number of popular architectural styles primarily Bungalow / American Craftsman and Dutch Colonial Revival. The community features 35 detached houses and dedicated open space.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Merion station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station on the Paoli/Thorndale Line, located in Merion, Pennsylvania just outside of Philadelphia. The station building, constructed in 1914 by the Pennsylvania Railroad, is a designated historic building. SEPTA completed renovations of the station building's slate tile roof and the westbound canopy in late 2007. In 2017, the average total weekday boardings at this station was 286, and the average total weekday alightings was 284.Amtrak stopped some westbound Silverliner Service trains at Merion until 1979.

Bala Cynwyd Junior High School Complex, is a historic school complex in Bala Cynwyd, Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The complex includes the Bala Cynwyd Middle School, the Cynwyd Elementary School, as well as the former Lower Merion Academy. The elementary school and middle schools are part of the Lower Merion School District. The Lower Merion Academy / Lower Merion Benevolent School building was built in 1812, and is a 3+1⁄2-story, five-bay, stuccoed stone building with cupola in the Federal style. It was renovated in 1938, in the Colonial Revival style. The Cynwyd Elementary School building was built in 1914, with a rear addition built in 1920. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, Classical Revival style building that features white terra cotta trim and a central entrance with Ionic order columns. The Bala Cynwyd Middle School building was built in 1938, and is a long, flat, two-story brick building in the modern style. A classroom wing was added in 1963. The buildings were renovated and some additions built in 1999.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. Next to the Lower Merion Academy building sits the school's old bell, cast in 1888 by McShane Bell Foundry of Baltimore, Maryland, and rededicated in 1976 according to a plaque affixed to the side.
