Rancho Las Uvas

Chesbro Reservoir is an artificial lake located three miles (5 km) west of Morgan Hill, California, in the United States. A 232-acre (94 ha) county park surrounds the reservoir and provides limited fishing ("catch-and-release"), picnicking, and hiking activities. Swimming and boating are not permitted in the reservoir.

Cañada Garcia Creek is a perennial stream in southwest Santa Clara County, California, United States. The headwaters rise on the southern flank of Portezuelo Gap near Manzanita Ridge in the eastern foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains. From there, the creek flows southeastward, eventually merging with Llagas Creek.

Little Uvas Creek is a perennial stream in southwest Santa Clara County, California, United States. The headwaters rise on the northeastern flank of Loma Chiquita Ridge in the Santa Cruz mountains, and flow eastward, eventually merging with Uvas Creek. Little Uvas Road follows alongside the creek for most of its length, ending at the intersection with Uvas Road.

The Santa Clara Valley AVA is an American Viticultural Area located mostly in Santa Clara County, California. The area served an important role in the early history of California wine and was home to the pioneer winemakers Paul Masson and Charles Lefranc. The AVA boundary was defined in 1989. It includes the historic winegrowing areas of Santa Clara County which were not already part of the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA as well as the area near Mission San José in Alameda County and a small part of San Benito County. The Santa Clara Valley AVA is home to two smaller AVAs, Pacheco Pass AVA and San Ysidro District AVA.

El Toro (Spanish for "The Bull") is a prominent hill located along the eastern foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains in southwest Santa Clara County, California. The iconic landmark is partially owned by the city of Morgan Hill, and its silhouette is incorporated in the city logo.

Twin Peaks are two prominent peaks along the foothills east of the Santa Cruz Mountains in Santa Clara County, California. The peaks are nestled between Uvas Reservoir to the west, and Paradise Valley in Morgan Hill to the east. The headwaters for Sycamore Creek rise from the eastern hillsides near these peaks. Although part of the Uvas Reservoir County Park, no trails currently lead to the peaks from the park side.

The headwaters rise on the eastern flank of Croy Ridge in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and flow eastward, eventually emptying into the Uvas Reservoir. Eastman Canyon Road follows alongside the creek for most of its length, ending at the intersection with Uvas Road.

The Burnett Township is a former township of Santa Clara County, California, United States, in the San Francisco Bay Area region, which includes the present day cities of Santa Teresa, Coyote, Madrone, and Morgan Hill. The township was named after the California Govenor Peter Hardeman Burnett (1807–1895). The township was established in 1844, from a group of Mexican land grants that were added to Santa Clara County when the county was established in 1834.

Madrone is a neighborhood of Morgan Hill, California, located at the base of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Once an independent township within Santa Clara County, the City of Morgan Hill annexed the Town of Madrone in 1959, turning the town into Morgan Hill's northern district, bordering San Jose, California. Uvas Reservoir is an artificial lake located west of Morgan Hill, California, in the United States. The reservoir is surrounded by a 626-acre (253 ha) park managed by the Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department. The park provides limited fishing ("catch-and-release"), picnicking, and hiking activities. Boating is not permitted in the reservoir.

Coyote Valley is an area located in a narrowing of the southern Santa Clara Valley, in Northern California. Coyote Valley is approximately 7,400 acres (2,995 ha) in size and largely composed of farmland, orchards, open space preserves, and homes. Coyote Valley is generally divided into three sections: North Coyote Valley (which is part of San Jose), the unincorporated village of Coyote, California (which is located in North Coyote Valley), and South Coyote Valley (which is part of Morgan Hill). Coyote Valley is one of the largest greenbelts in the San Francisco Bay Area. Much of Coyote Valley is preserved as open space, nature reserve, or protected farmland. The area was threatened by large-scale development in the early 2000s, which drew criticism from the public, resulting in the abandonment of the redevelopment plans and the establishment of the conservation policy which governs the valley. The Coyote Gap at the extreme north end of Coyote Valley is a critical wildlife corridor for safe passage of animals from the Diablo Range in the east to the Santa Cruz Mountains in the west, as Coyote Valley is the narrowest point between the two mountain ranges.

Villa Mira Monte is a historic villa in Morgan Hill, California, United States, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built for Hiram Morgan Hill, founder of Morgan Hill, and his wife Diana Murphy Hill, a Californio heiress.
