El Toro (Spanish for "The Bull") is a prominent hill located along the eastern foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains in southwest Santa Clara County, California. The iconic landmark is partially owned by the city of Morgan Hill, and its silhouette is incorporated in the city logo.

Morgan Hill is a city in Santa Clara County, California, at the southern tip of Silicon Valley in the San Francisco Bay Area. Villa Mira Monte is a historic villa in Morgan Hill, California, United States, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built for Hiram Morgan Hill, founder of Morgan Hill, and his wife Diana Murphy Hill, a Californio heiress.

Chesbro Reservoir is an artificial lake located three miles (5 km) west of Morgan Hill, California, in the United States. A 232-acre (94 ha) county park surrounds the reservoir and provides limited fishing ("catch-and-release"), picnicking, and hiking activities. Swimming and boating are not permitted in the reservoir.

Morgan Hill station is a Caltrain station located in the downtown area of Morgan Hill, California. The station is only served during weekday peak hours, with northbound trains in the morning and southbound trains in the evening. The original Southern Pacific station opened in 1899 as Morganhill. The railroad closed the station in November 1958. VTA rebuilt the station for an extension to Caltrain in 1992. Service between San Jose and Gilroy, including Morgan Hill station, was increased to four weekday round trips on September 25, 2023.The station will eventually be served by Amtrak when the Capitol Corridor is extended to Salinas station.

Twin Peaks are two prominent peaks along the foothills east of the Santa Cruz Mountains in Santa Clara County, California. The peaks are nestled between Uvas Reservoir to the west, and Paradise Valley in Morgan Hill to the east. The headwaters for Sycamore Creek rise from the eastern hillsides near these peaks. Although part of the Uvas Reservoir County Park, no trails currently lead to the peaks from the park side.

The 21-Mile House was a tavern and stagecoach rest stop located 21 miles away from San Jose, California along the route to Monterey. The house evolved into a station stop for the Butterfield Overland Stage. The 21-Mile-House, constructed in 1852 by William Host beneath an oak tree later known as the Vásquez Tree, changed ownership to William Tennant in November 1852. Although it no longer stands today, this station played a crucial role in facilitating the changing, feeding, and stabling of horses, as well as providing passengers with refreshment. The California Historical Landmark #259 bronze plaque serves to commemorate the 21-Mile House site.

Rancho Las Uvas was a 11,080-acre (44.8 km2) Mexican land grant in present-day Santa Clara County, California given in 1842 by Governor Juan Alvarado to Lorenzo Pinedo (often spelt Pineda). The name means "ranch of the grapes" and is derived from an abundance of wild grapes (Vitis californica) along the area's main watercourses. The grant was 3 miles west of present-day Morgan Hill, and covered the hilly area drained by the Uvas Creek and Llagas Creek, and is the site of present-day Uvas Reservoir.

Once an independent township within Santa Clara County, the City of Morgan Hill annexed the Town of Madrone in 1959, turning the town into Morgan Hill's northern district, bordering San Jose, California. Today, Madrone is primarily an affluent residential area, home to numerous luxury developments and landed estates.With median home price of $1,422,346, Madrone is among the most expensive neighborhoods in United States, well above the national average of $220,100.

Little Uvas Creek is a perennial stream in southwest Santa Clara County, California, United States. The headwaters rise on the northeastern flank of Loma Chiquita Ridge in the Santa Cruz mountains, and flow eastward, eventually merging with Uvas Creek. Little Uvas Road follows alongside the creek for most of its length, ending at the intersection with Uvas Road.

The Morgan Hill Unified School District (MHUSD) is a public school district operating eight elementary schools, two middle schools, and three high schools in southern Santa Clara County, California. Its jurisdiction covers all of Morgan Hill, California, and San Martin, California, as well as Coyote Valley and the Santa Teresa district of San Jose, California. Alongside its traditional schools, MHUSD, in special partnership with The Tech Interactive and Stanford University, operates four specialized public "focus academies", in STEAM, mathematics and music, engineering, and health sciences. MHUSD schools have been awarded as National Blue Ribbon Schools, California Distinguished Schools, and California Gold Ribbon Schools.
