Lycée militaire de Saint-Cyr

Saint-Cyr-l'École (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ siʁ lekɔl] ) is a commune in the western suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 21.4 km (13.3 mi) from the centre of Paris. It used to host the training school for officers of the French army, the École spéciale militaire de Saint-Cyr (ESM), which was relocated to Coëtquidan in 1945. The old buildings of the ESM are now used by the lycée militaire de Saint-Cyr (military high school of Saint-Cyr). Inhabitants are called Saint-Cyriens (uppercase, with students or graduates from the school called saint-cyriens with lowercase).

The canton of Saint-Cyr-l'École is an administrative division of the Yvelines department, northern France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Saint-Cyr-l'École.It consists of the following communes: Bois-d'Arcy Chavenay Fontenay-le-Fleury Rennemoulin Saint-Cyr-l'École Villepreux

The Batterie de Bouviers is located in the commune of Guyancourt, Yvelines, France. It is a former fortification built beginning in 1879 and occupied by the army until 1932. From 1933 it was leased by the Hispano Suiza company as a factory, surrounded by other industrial structures. The site was abandoned by Hispano Suiza in 1990, and was sold by the Ministry of Defense in 1999. In 2006 the battery became the "Cafe Musiques", surrounded by office buildings and a music school.

Prost Grand Prix was a Formula One racing team owned and managed by four-time Formula One world champion Alain Prost. The team participated in five seasons from 1997 to 2001.

Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ kɑ̃.tɛ̃ ɑ̃.n‿iv.lin]) is a new town and an agglomeration community in the French department of Yvelines. It is one of the original five villes nouvelles (new towns) of Paris and was named after the Saint Quentin Pond, which was chosen to become the town's centre. The town was built from a greenfield site starting in the 1960s. Its area is 119.2 km2. In 2018, Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines had a population of 228,312. It is part of the much larger Paris metropolitan area, and is around 25 km (16 mi) west of the centre of Paris.

Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines–Montigny-le-Bretonneux is a station on the Paris–Brest railway. It is served by Paris's express suburban rail system, the RER Line C and by suburban Transilien Line N and U services. The station opened in 1975. It is within Montigny-le-Bretonneux.

École supérieure des techniques aéronautiques et de construction automobile (ESTACA) is a French engineering School, so called "Grande École", created in 1925. ESTACA is an Engineering school that trains engineers in aeronautics & aerospace engineering, naval engineering, automotive engineering and railway engineering. In addition to its training activities, the school also conducts applied research in the aeronautics, automotive, space, guided transport and naval sectors. Located in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, Bordeaux and Laval, the school is recognised by the Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur. On 25 September 2012, it joined the ISAE Group.

The Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Observatory is an astronomical observatory affiliated with the Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines University. Built in Guyancourt, France in 2009, it focuses on the fields of climate change and sustainable development.

La Lanterne is a hunting lodge in Versailles, France. Along with the Fort de Brégançon in Var, it is one of the two official retreats of the President of the French Republic. The estate is adjacent to the Park of Versailles and situated on the road that links Versailles with Saint-Cyr-l'École. The estate includes a central two-story U-shaped building with a central section measuring 20 by 6 metres (66 by 20 ft). The central section is flanked by two parallel wings—of a later date and lower than the central section—which frame a gravel courtyard. A tree-lined lane links the courtyard with the Saint-Cyr road. The estate also includes a swimming pool, a tennis court, and five guest rooms.

The Institut Culturel Franco-Japonais – École Japonaise de Paris ("French-Japanese Cultural Institute - Japanese School of Paris" - Japanese: 日仏文化学院パリ日本人学校 Nichifutsu Bunka Gakuin Pari Nihonjin Gakkō) is a Japanese international school located in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, France, in the Paris Metropolitan Area. The school is located in proximity to Versailles. Japanese is the primary language of instruction while students also take French classes.The school serves ages 6 through 15. Marie Conte-Holm, author of The Japanese and Europe: Economic and Cultural Encounters, wrote that the bus route to and from the school "essentially determines" where Japanese families with children settle in Greater Paris. She also wrote that "While some Japanese children attend local schools for a proportion of their time in France, even the more internationally minded Japanese parents will transfer their offspring to the Japanese School for reorientation during the latter part of their stay."As of 2020 the school is led by Principal Onoe (小野江 校長).

The Ménagerie royale de Versailles (literal French for "Royal Menagerie of Versailles") was Louis XIV's first major project at Versailles. It was built even before the creation of the Grand Canal. Its construction was entrusted to the architect Louis Le Vau, who began work in 1663. Abandoned during the French Revolution, it fell into ruin and no longer exists today.
