Renmin Daxue (Renmin Univ.) station

The Renmin University of China (RUC; 中国人民大学) is a public university in Haidian, Beijing, China. The university is affiliated with the Ministry of Education, and co-funded by the Ministry of Education and the Beijing Municipal People's Government. The university is part of Project 211, Project 985, and the Double First-Class Construction.

The Beijing Sitong Bridge protest was a protest in China during the prelude to the 20th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). On the morning of October 13, 2022, a protester demonstrated against CCP general secretary Xi Jinping's cult of personality, dictatorship, human rights violations, strengthening of censorship, seeking of leadership for life and implementation of the zero-COVID policy by hanging banners and burning tires on Sitong Bridge (Chinese: 四通桥; pinyin: Sìtōng Qiáo) in Haidian District, Beijing. The protester, Peng Lifa (彭立发; pinyin: Péng Lìfā; b. 1974), has been dubbed Bridge Man or Banner Man in reference to Tank Man.

Zhichunli Station (Chinese: 知春里站; pinyin: Zhīchūnlǐ Zhàn) is a subway station on Line 10 of the Beijing Subway. It is located between Zhichun Lu (to the east) and Haidian Huangzhuang (to the west), under Zhichun Road. This is an underground station.

The Big Bell Temple, or Da Zhong Temple (simplified Chinese: 大钟寺; traditional Chinese: 大鐘寺; pinyin: Dàzhōng Sì), originally known as Jue Sheng Temple (simplified Chinese: 觉生寺; traditional Chinese: 覺生寺; pinyin: Juéshēng Sì), is a Buddhist temple located on North 3rd Road in Beijing, China. The Big Bell Temple was built in 1733 during the reign of the Yongzheng Emperor of the Qing dynasty (1644-1911). The temple's name came after the famous "Yongle" Big Bell that is housed inside the temple, which was cast during the reign of the Yongle Emperor (1403-1424) of the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). According to a test by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Yongle Big Bell's sound could reaches up to 120 decibels and can be heard 50 kilometers away from the temple in the depth of night. Many music experts, including some from the Chinese Acoustics Institute have found its tone pure, deep and melodious with a sprightly rhythm. Its frequency ranges from 22 to 800 hertz. The Dahui Temple (Chinese: 大慧寺), literally Temple of Great Wisdom, is a Ming Dynasty Buddhist temple located in Beijing. It is located in the western Haidian District of the city. It lies in the street Dahui Si Road near the Xueyuan Nan Road. It was first built in 1513, and restored in 1757. The temple is known for its Buddhist sculptures: 28 colored Buddhist statues, all over three meters tall. These carving are described to be great works of art of the Ming era.
