The Big Bell Temple, or Da Zhong Temple (simplified Chinese: 大钟寺; traditional Chinese: 大鐘寺; pinyin: Dàzhōng Sì), originally known as Jue Sheng Temple (simplified Chinese: 觉生寺; traditional Chinese: 覺生寺; pinyin: Juéshēng Sì), is a Buddhist temple located on North 3rd Road in Beijing, China. The Big Bell Temple was built in 1733 during the reign of the Yongzheng Emperor of the Qing dynasty (1644-1911). The temple's name came after the famous "Yongle" Big Bell that is housed inside the temple, which was cast during the reign of the Yongle Emperor (1403-1424) of the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). According to a test by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Yongle Big Bell's sound could reaches up to 120 decibels and can be heard 50 kilometers away from the temple in the depth of night. Many music experts, including some from the Chinese Acoustics Institute have found its tone pure, deep and melodious with a sprightly rhythm. Its frequency ranges from 22 to 800 hertz. Dazhongsi Station (simplified Chinese: 大钟寺站; traditional Chinese: 大鐘寺站; pinyin: Dàzhōngsì Zhàn) is a station on Line 13 of the Beijing Subway. The namesake for the station is the nearby Big Bell Temple (Da Zhong Si).

The China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL; Chinese: 中国政法大学) is a national public university in Beijing, China. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Education and co-sponsored with the Beijing Municipal People's Government. The university is part of Project 211 and the Double First-Class Construction. The university has a strong emphasis on the research and teaching of law, politics, economics, management, sociology, history, and philosophy. CUPL has two campuses, one in Haidian as the original campus of the university, and the other located in Changping. At present, Haidian campus only conducts postgraduate education while undergraduates study on the larger Changping campus. Renmin Daxue (Renmin Univ.) Station (simplified Chinese: 人民大学站; traditional Chinese: 人民大學站; pinyin: Rénmín Dàxué Zhàn) is a station on Line 4 of the Beijing Subway. It is located near the east gate of Renmin University.

The Yuan Dadu City Wall Ruins Park (Chinese: 元大都城墙遗址公园), also known as the Tucheng or Earth Wall Park, is an urban park and historic site in Beijing. The park was created in 1988 to preserve the ruins of the northern city wall of Khanbaliq (Dadu), capital of the Mongol-led Yuan dynasty. The city wall was constructed in 1267 and finished in 1276. Dadu was abandoned in the Ming dynasty, when Beijing was rebuilt and shifted to the south. The northern segment of the city wall is preserved, and a narrow and long park was created around the ruins of the city wall, located in Haidian District and Chaoyang District. It runs in between and parallel to the northern sections of the 3rd and 4th Ring Roads. The park underwent restoration in 2003.

The China University of Geosciences (Beijing) is a public university located in Beijing, China. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Education, and co-funded by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Natural Resources. The university is part of the Double First-Class Construction and Project 211.In administrative and legal terms, the China University of Geosciences (Beijing) and the China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) are considered separate entities, although these two universities shared common history until 2005. Beihang University (北京航空航天大学; previously Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics; BUAA) is a public university in Beijing, China. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The university is part of Project 211, Project 985, and the Double First-Class Construction.The school was founded as Beijing Aeronautics College (北京航空学院) in 1952 by the merger of the aviation departments of eight elite universities at that time, including Peiyang University, Tsinghua University, Xiamen University, Sichuan University, and Chongqing University. In April 1988, the school was renamed Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. BUAA is considered as one of the Seven Sons of National Defence.
