Stourton is a mainly industrial area of the city of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The area falls within the City and Hunslet ward of Leeds Metropolitan Council.

Stourton railway station served the area of Stourton, in the historic county of West Riding of Yorkshire, England, in 1904 on the East and West Yorkshire Union Railway.

Stourton Freightliner Terminal (Stourton FLT), is a railfreight intermodal transport hub located in Stourton, Leeds, England. It is operated by the Freightliner Group, and has services arriving and departing for ports in Felixstowe, Southampton and Tilbury in the south of England. Stourton serves as a dedicated collection and delivery point for containers across Yorkshire, with a minor sub-service to Teesport in Middlesbrough by rail. The site was opened in July 1967 by British Rail as part of its dedicated Freightliner brand. Between the closure of many intermodal terminals in the 1980s, and the prospect of a resurgence in Channel Tunnel traffic, Stourton was the only intermodal terminal in Yorkshire between 1987 and 1994.

Skelton Grange Power Station refers to two now-demolished coal fired power stations (Skelton Grange ‘A’ and Skelton Grange ‘B’) that served the city of Leeds and surrounding areas. They were located in the Stourton area of the city. The power stations were built in the early 1950s and early 1960s, taken out of use in 1983 and 1994 and subsequently dismantled but the associated 275 kV switching substation was retained and remains in use.

Cross Green is a mainly industrial area of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It is around 1 mile (1.6 km) on a hill to the south east of Leeds city centre, with the A63 road (Pontefract Lane) running through the middle and dividing it into a residential estate with playing fields and housing to the north, and a large industrial estate to the south. The area lies in the LS9 Leeds postcode area between Osmondthorpe, Richmond Hill and Hunslet.

Neville Hill is a railway train maintenance depot in Osmondthorpe, Leeds, England on the Leeds to Selby Line. The depot is situated 2 miles 14 chains (3.5 km) to the east of Leeds railway station on the north side of the line.The TOPS depot code is NL.

Leeds South is a parliamentary constituency in the city of Leeds, West Yorkshire, which returns one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The constituency existed from 1885 to 1983 and was recreated in 2024 following the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies. In the 2024 general election, the seat was won by Hilary Benn of the Labour Party, who serves as Secretary of State for Northern Ireland in the government of Keir Starmer. Benn had represented Leeds Central, the main predecessor of Leeds South, since 1999. Leeds South was the seat of the former Leader of the Labour Party, the late Hugh Gaitskell, and the former Home Secretary Merlyn Rees.

Knowsthorpe, Knostrop or Knostropp is an area of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, on the River Aire. The spelling "Knostrop" is predominantly used for the large water treatment works in the area. Osmondthorpe a district of east Leeds in West Yorkshire, England is considered part of the Halton Moor district.It is situated in the LS9 Leeds postcode area, two miles (3 km) to the east of Leeds city centre between East End Park and Halton Moor. The district is part of the Burmantofts and Richmond Hill Ward of the Leeds Metropolitan Council. It was originally a hamlet 3.5 miles SE of Leeds associated with the township of Temple Newsam and in the Whitkirk parish with some coal working. Ralph Thoresby visited Osmondthorpe Hall, which stood on the West side of Osmondthorpe Lane, but was destroyed by fire in 1924. Some 50 acres of the grounds were used to create East End Park and the rest for housing.Osmondthorpe railway station was opened by the London & North Eastern Railway on the Selby Line in 1930 to serve a new estate of housing, but closed in 1960. Osmondthorpe is home to the Neville Hill railway depot.

Woodhouse Hill was a stadium in the Hunslet district of Leeds which was used for cricket and rugby football.

The Hunslet Mill and Victoria Works Complex is a series of very large disused mill buildings in Goodman Street in Leeds.

Leeds Midland Road depot is a locomotive and rolling stock maintenance facility located in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The site is located a few miles to the south-east of Leeds station on the line between Leeds and Castleford. Owned and operated by Freightliner, it is the heavy maintenance facility for its diesel and electric locomotives and wagon fleet.
