Gerhard Hanappi Stadium

Allianz Stadion is a football stadium which is built on the site of the former Gerhard Hanappi Stadium as the new home of SK Rapid Wien. In international matches the stadium has the no-commercial name Weststadion. Demolition of the old stadium began in early October 2014, after a ceremonial farewell with thousands of fans. By January 2015 almost nothing was left of the old stadium, which allowed foundation works for the new arena. The stadium was officially unveiled when Rapid Wien hosted Chelsea in a pre-season friendly on 16 July 2016.The first competitive match took place in the new stadium on 23 July 2016 when Rapid Vienna hosted SV Ried in the first round of the Austrian Football Bundesliga. Christoph Schößwendter scored the first competitive goal in the newly opened stadium in a 5–0 victory.

Wien Hütteldorf (German for Vienna Hütteldorf) (Hütteldorf-Hacking until 1981) is a railway station located in the Penzing district of Vienna, Austria. Opened in 1858, it is owned and operated by the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), and is served by long distance, regional and S-Bahn trains. Housed within a train shed at the station is the Hütteldorf U-Bahn station, which is the western terminus of U4 of the Vienna U-Bahn.

Hütteldorf (German pronunciation: [ˈhʏtl̩ˌdɔʁf] (listen); Central Bavarian: Hittldorf) is a part of Vienna's 14th district, Penzing. It is located in the west of Vienna, in the geographical center of the district, stretching roughly from Deutschordenstraße (which forms the border to Baumgarten) in the east to Wolf in der Au in the west, where Hütteldorf borders Hadersdorf-Weidlingau. Hütteldorf is well known throughout Austria and beyond as the site of the Gerhard-Hanappi-Stadion, the stadium in which Rapid Vienna hosts its home games. It is also known for the Wien Hütteldorf railway station near the stadium, where most long-distance trains operating on the West railway stop, as it offers good connections to Vienna's subway system (line U4) and suburban train routes.

Ober St. Veit is a station on U4 of the Vienna U-Bahn. It is located in the Hietzing District. It opened in 1981.

Baumgarten (Central Bavarian: Baamgoatn) is an area of Vienna's fourteenth district. Until 1891, it was a little village outside the city. Together with the villages Hütteldorf, Penzing, Breitensee and Hadersdorf-Weidlingau it became Vienna's 14th district. Baumgarten was first mentioned in 1200, but probably existed already in earlier times. It was originally subdivided in Ober- and Unterbaumgarten (the upper part and the lower part). In 1850, the two parts were merged into one community. Until the 19th century, it had a very rural character with farms and vineyards and it was a popular summer holiday retreat for the citizens of Vienna. Some of the richer summer guests had built nice summer residences in this area. One of them was known as the "Baumgarten Castle", which was demolished in 1890 and a school was built instead. Right opposite it is the "Baumgarten Casino" that still hosts music and dance events.[1]The artist Gustav Klimt was born in Baumgarten, Linzerstraße 247. The one-story house was torn down in 1966 and replaced by apartment buildings. The commemorative plaque that was originally mounted on the house is now stored at the district museum of Penzing.

Hietzing (German pronunciation: [ˈhɪtsɪŋ] (listen)) is the 13th municipal District of Vienna (German: 13. Bezirk, Hietzing). It is located west of the central districts, west of Meidling. Hietzing is a heavily populated urban area with many residential buildings, but also contains large areas of the Vienna Woods, along with Schönbrunn Palace.

Steinhof in Vienna, Austria, is an old name for an area of Vienna that today contains the Otto-Wagner-Spital as well as its church Kirche am Steinhof and the surrounding parks of the Steinhofgründe, which were opened in 1907. Historically the area is also linked to the Am Spiegelgrund clinic, where 789 patients, mostly children, were murdered during World War II under the child euthanasia in Nazi Germany from 1940 to 1945.The name derives from the quarries of nearby Ottakring, which were called Steinhöfe (English: stone yards). The area used to belong to Lower Austria, but was assigned to the 14th district of Vienna, Penzing, after the Anschluss of Austria to Nazi Germany in 1938.

The Otto-Wagner-Spital (English: Otto Wagner Hospital) is a hospital in Vienna, Austria. It was originally a psychiatric hospital and center for pulmonology. The hospital lies in Steinhof, an area of the 14th district of Vienna, Penzing, and was built according to the plans of architect Otto Wagner and opened in 1907. The building is made up of 60 pavilions that were designed by Carlo von Boog. The Kirche am Steinhof is located at the center of the compound. An art nouveau theater is found further on the grounds.In 2000, five health facilities were consolidated under the label Sozialmedizinisches Zentrum Baumgartner Höhe - Otto Wagner Spital mit Pflegezentrum (Baumgartner Höhe Social Medicine Center - Otto Wagner Hospital and Care Center). The five facilities are Förderpflegeheim Baumgartner Höhe (advancing care) Neurologisches Krankenhaus Maria-Theresien-Schlössl (neurology) Pflegeheim Sanatoriumstraße (nursing care) Psychiatrisches Krankenhaus Baumgartner Höhe (psychiatry) Pulmologisches Zentrum Baumgartner Höhe (pulmonology).The center also hosts the Gedenkstätte zur Geschichte der NS-Medizin in Wien (Memorial to the History of Nazi-Medicine in Vienna) memorial and exhibition, which opened in 2002.During the Second World War, 789 children were tortured and murdered in the Children's Ward of the hospital.

Kirche am Steinhof, also called the Church of St. Leopold, is the Roman Catholic oratory of the Otto-Wagner-Spital in the area of Steinhof in Vienna, Austria. The building, designed by Otto Wagner, is considered one of the most important Art Nouveau churches in the world.
