Juanita Beach Park is a 22-acre (8.9 ha) waterfront park located on the northeast shore of Lake Washington in the Juanita neighborhood, managed by the city of Kirkland, Washington in the United States. It was historically the home of several popular private beach resorts before their purchase by the public in 1956. The park straddles thoroughfare Juanita Drive and features a number of amenities, including a pier, a playground, bathhouses, and athletic facilities. It is the busiest waterfront park in Kirkland's recreation system.

The Village at Totem Lake, formerly Totem Lake Mall, is a shopping center in Kirkland, Washington, United States. The center of Totem Lake Mall consisted of an enclosed shopping mall (Lower Mall), and an adjacent strip mall (Upper Mall). Collectively, the two centers were sometimes referred to as "Totem Lake Malls". Following the redevelopment of major regional malls beginning in the 1980s, Totem Lake Mall went into steady decline, losing most of its major tenants. The majority of these tenants were only accessible on the outside, shying away from the interior mall concept popular throughout the 1960s-1990s. Multiple redevelopments for the property were proposed. Village At Totem Lake, LLC purchased the mall in 2015 and in 2016 announced it would be redeveloped and reopened as The Village at Totem Lake.Today, The Village at Totem Lake includes retail, restaurants, office space, and on-site residential to create a mixed-use center. Forbes Creek is a small, moderately sloping creek wholly within the city of Kirkland, Washington. From its headwaters on the Rose Hill moraine to its outlet at Juanita Bay is c. 2 miles (3.2 km) as the crow flies. The northern extent of its basin is a nearly east–west line at NE 116th Street; the eastern boundary is at the Rose Hill ridgeline, roughly north–south at 132nd Avenue NE. The southern extent is irregular trending roughly from Kirkland's high point at the northeast corner of Bridle Trails State Park (535 ft (163 m), 47°39′26″N 122°10′21″W) through South Rose Hill Park, to Lake Washington at 16 feet (4.9 m) above sea level.Two major branches of the creek rise on Rose Hill between NE 70th Street and NE 85th Street and then run south to north on Rose Hill. One rises in the vicinity of Lake Washington High School and runs north past Costco #008 to Forbes Lake. The other rises slightly to the east in the vicinity of Rose Hill Elementary School then through North Rose Hill Woodlands Park. The two join north of the lake then run west through a two-meter culvert under Interstate 405 near NE 100th Street, under the Cross Kirkland Corridor, into the Forbes Creek Valley and Juanita Bay Wetlands Park. The creek finally empties into Lake Washington at Juanita Bay, less than a kilometer from the mouth of Juanita Creek which empties into the same bay.

Inglewood-Finn Hill was a census-designated place (CDP) in King County, Washington, United States. The population was 22,707 at the 2010 census. The community was largely annexed into neighboring Kirkland in 2011. Based on per capita income, one of the more reliable measures of affluence, Inglewood-Finn Hill ranks 35th of 522 areas in the state of Washington to be ranked.

Juanita Creek is a creek in King County, Washington that flows through the city of Kirkland. The creek runs about 5 miles (8.0 km) before entering Lake Washington's Juanita Bay at Juanita Beach Park.

Totem Lake is a 2-acre (0.81 ha) lake in Kirkland, Washington, at the head of a branch of Juanita Creek, inside the Juanita Creek Basin. A Kirkland neighborhood and retail/residential development are named for the lake. A 17.2-acre (7.0 ha) park completely surrounds the lake, bordered by the Cross Kirkland Corridor linear park and trail. The lake has had other names including Lake Wittenmyer, Lake Watstine, Mudd Lake, and an original Native American name which has been lost.

Kirkland is a city in King County, Washington, United States. A suburb east of Seattle, its population was 92,175 in the 2020 U.S. census which made it the sixth largest city in the county and the twelfth largest in the state. Inglemoor High School is a public high school located in Kenmore, Washington, United States. It is one of the largest high schools in the state of Washington and has an average of 30 students per teacher. As of 2017, the student population was approximately 1,600 students in grades 9–12. Starting from the 2017 school year, the school accommodates 9th grade as well. Inglemoor's feeder schools are Kenmore Middle School and Northshore Middle School, and Arrowhead, Kenmore, Lockwood, Moorlands, Shelton View, and Woodmoor Elementary Schools. In addition, Inglemoor accepts waivers due to the popularity of its International Baccalaureate program.

Northshore Middle School is a public middle school in Bothell, Washington. Most students go to Inglemoor High School after graduating from NMS, as it is commonly referred to. The feeders schools are Arrowhead Elementary, Woodmoor Elementary, and Moorlands Elementary. The school hosts an AAP (Advanced Academics Program) for students whose assessment scores qualify them for the highly capable program.In 2017, Northshore Middle School was re branded and reworked from Northshore Junior High into Northshore Middle School, which made it a grade 6th to 8th school.
