Inglemoor High School is a public high school located in Kenmore, Washington, United States. It is one of the largest high schools in the state of Washington and has an average of 30 students per teacher. As of 2017, the student population was approximately 1,600 students in grades 9–12. Starting from the 2017 school year, the school accommodates 9th grade as well. Inglemoor's feeder schools are Kenmore Middle School and Northshore Middle School, and Arrowhead, Kenmore, Lockwood, Moorlands, Shelton View, and Woodmoor Elementary Schools. In addition, Inglemoor accepts waivers due to the popularity of its International Baccalaureate program.

Juanita Beach Park is a 22-acre (8.9 ha) waterfront park located on the northeast shore of Lake Washington in the Juanita neighborhood, managed by the city of Kirkland, Washington in the United States. It was historically the home of several popular private beach resorts before their purchase by the public in 1956. The park straddles thoroughfare Juanita Drive and features a number of amenities, including a pier, a playground, bathhouses, and athletic facilities. It is the busiest waterfront park in Kirkland's recreation system.

Juanita Creek is a creek in King County, Washington that flows through the city of Kirkland. The creek runs about 5 miles (8.0 km) before entering Lake Washington's Juanita Bay at Juanita Beach Park.

Juanita High School is a high school in Kirkland, Washington, administered by Lake Washington School District. It was opened on September 4, 1971, as a result of a campaign driven by an education theory known as the "Juanita Concept", developed by John Strauss, who became the school's first principal. It was later discovered that this concept did not work, and so the school was later remodeled into a traditional format. The mascot chosen was the "rebel", to represent the rebellious nature of the teaching concept.In June 2018, half the school was demolished and was rebuilt to house more students in the growing school. The whole school has been rebuilt and fully refurbished as of September of 2020.

Forbes Creek is a small, moderately sloping creek wholly within the city of Kirkland, Washington. From its headwaters on the Rose Hill moraine to its outlet at Juanita Bay is c. 2 miles (3.2 km) as the crow flies. The northern extent of its basin is a nearly east–west line at NE 116th Street; the eastern boundary is at the Rose Hill ridgeline, roughly north–south at 132nd Avenue NE. The southern extent is irregular trending roughly from Kirkland's high point at the northeast corner of Bridle Trails State Park (535 ft (163 m), 47°39′26″N 122°10′21″W) through South Rose Hill Park, to Lake Washington at 16 feet (4.9 m) above sea level.Two major branches of the creek rise on Rose Hill between NE 70th Street and NE 85th Street and then run south to north on Rose Hill. One rises in the vicinity of Lake Washington High School and runs north past Costco #008 to Forbes Lake. The other rises slightly to the east in the vicinity of Rose Hill Elementary School then through North Rose Hill Woodlands Park. The two join north of the lake then run west through a two-meter culvert under Interstate 405 near NE 100th Street, under the Cross Kirkland Corridor, into the Forbes Creek Valley and Juanita Bay Wetlands Park. The creek finally empties into Lake Washington at Juanita Bay, less than a kilometer from the mouth of Juanita Creek which empties into the same bay.

O.O. Denny Park is a 47-acre (19 ha) city park in Kirkland, Washington. It has approximately 0.25 miles (400 m) of Lake Washington shoreline, and some park amenities such as BBQ grills and a covered structure at the shore, with mostly unimproved forest above the lake, surrounding Denny Creek.

The Sammamish River Trail is a 10.1-mile (16.3 km) bike path and recreational trail in King County, Washington that runs along the Sammamish River from Blythe Park in Bothell to Marymoor Park in Redmond as part of the “Locks to Lakes Corridor.” It connects to the Burke-Gilman Trail at its north western end, and to the Redmond Central Connector at its south eastern end.The trail is paved for bicycle, inline-skate and pedestrian use and is paralleled for most of its length by an unpaved equestrian trail. It passes near the Chateau Ste. Michelle, Columbia and Silver Lake wineries in Woodinville, as well as the former site of the Redhook Ale brewery, which is now leased by DeLille Cellars, Sparkman Cellars and Teatro ZinZanni.The trail has a very slight grade for its entire length. Other trails connecting with the Sammamish River Trail include the Burke-Gilman Trail, Redmond Central Connector, East Lake Sammamish Trail, Tolt Pipeline Trail and Puget Power trail.

Bastyr University is a private alternative medicine university with campuses in Kenmore, Washington, and San Diego, California. Programs include naturopathy, acupuncture, Traditional Asian medicine, nutrition, herbal medicine, ayurvedic medicine, psychology, and midwifery. Some of Bastyr's programs teach and research topics that are considered pseudoscience, quackery, and fake by the scientific and medical communities. Quackwatch, a group against health fraud, put Bastyr University on its list of "questionable organizations" as a school which is "accredited but not recommended".Bastyr University and similar naturopathic programs are not accredited as medical schools but as special programs that are overseen by a naturopathic council which is not required to be scientific. Bastyr's naturopathic program has been accused by critics of misrepresenting its medical rigor and its ability to train primary care clinicians.

Saint Edward State Park is a 316-acre (128 ha)-park in Kenmore, Washington and Kirkland, Washington. It is part of the Washington State Park System. Before becoming a Catholic seminary and later a state park, the area was logged in the 19th century and again in the 1920s. A series of trails runs through the park for bicyclists and hikers. The forest canopy is primarily made up of the Coast Douglas-fir, Western Redcedar, Bigleaf Maple, Pacific Madrone and Western Hemlock. Its dense carpet includes many varieties of fern (mainly Western Sword Fern), shrub and moss. It is flanked on the west by an undeveloped beach on Lake Washington. The park surrounds the Saint Thomas Center, which houses Bastyr University.

The Sorenson House is a historic house located in Bothell, Washington. It was built in 1922 by James Sorenson and is an example of American Craftsman Bungalow architecture. The interior displays artistic heights of the American Arts and Crafts style. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) on March 9, 1995.

Bothell High School is located in Bothell, Washington, United States, and is one of four high schools in the Northshore School District. Approximately 1,500 students in grades 9 through 12 attend the school, which is a member of the KingCo 4A athletic conference. The high school has alternated between in-person and online classes and has also had to close temporarily due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As of January 2022, Bothell high school classes are all online.
