Ferentari [fe.renˈtarʲ] is a neighbourhood located in the 5th Sector of Bucharest, Romania.

ANEFS Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Bucharest, Romania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Comprest GIM București and Electrica București. The stadium holds 6,000 people. It was also known as Rocar Stadium, but after ANEFS bought the stadium it renamed it.

The Bucharest Sephardic Jewish Cemetery (Romanian: Cimitirul evreiesc Sefard din București) is one of three active Jewish cemeteries that still exist in Bucharest. The cemetery is located on 2 Olteniței Street, across the street from Bellu Cemetery, and was opened in 1865. It has an area between 4 and 5 hectares large, and contains 10,300 graves.

City Mall was a shopping mall located in Eroii Revolutiei square, Bucharest, Romania. Opened in 2005, the construction was based on an incomplete hunger circus abandoned after the fall of the Communist system.The mall became insolvent in 2012, and was bought by real estate investor Ioannis Papalekas. In March 2013, Papalekas announced plans to convert the mall into an office building.

Eroii Revoluției (English: Heroes of the Revolution) is a metro station in Bucharest, on Bucharest Metro Line M2. It was initially named Pieptănari, but the name was changed to commemorate those people who died during the Romanian Revolution of 1989. The station was opened on 24 January 1986 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Piața Unirii to Depoul IMGB.

Șerban Vodă Cemetery (commonly known as Bellu Cemetery) is the largest and most famous cemetery in Bucharest, Romania. It is located on a plot of land donated to the local administration by Baron Barbu Bellu. It has been in use since 1858. The cemetery covers 54 acres and it is one of the most authentic cultural attractions in Bucharest.

Progresul is a district in southern Bucharest's Sectorul 4, Romania.

Constantin Brâncoveanu is a metro station in Bucharest. It is named after Constantin Brâncoveanu, a Wallachian prince (1654–1714). It is located at the junction of the Olteniței Road (Șoseaua Olteniței) and the Constantin Brâncoveanu boulevard (Bd. Constantin Brâncoveanu), right next to the southern entrance into Tineretului Park, providing easy access to the Sala Polivalentă (Polivalenta Hall, a frequent host to sport events and concerts). Here one can find "Orașelul copiilor" (City of the kids), the greatest amusement park in Romania. Since the fall of communism the platform has been dominated by a statue of Constantin Brâncoveanu and his sons, replacing the older statue of Ion Popescu-Puțuri, a communist leader. The station opened on 5 December 1988, two years after the southern section of the M2 Line opened, likely due to lack of demand for the station in the area, when the line opened at first.

Lake Tineretului is an anthropic lake located in Bucharest, Sector 4, situated in Tineretului Park, covering an area of 13 hectares. The park's designer, Valentin Donose, proposed the creation of a large lake, naturally fed by the groundwater, featuring three islands, two of which are connected to the shore by small bridges. The lake is monitored by birdwatchers from Bucharest due to the presence of rare bird species that use the area for feeding or resting during migrations and winter.

The Astronomical Institute of the Romanian Academy was created in 1990 with the union of three astronomical observatories: the Bucharest Astronomical Observatory, the Cluj Observatory and the Timișoara Observatory.

The Progresu Power Station is a large thermal power plant located in Bucharest, having 4 generation groups of 50 MW each having a total electricity generation capacity of 200 MW. Its chimney is the tallest structure in Bucharest with a height of 240 metres. 44°22′18.12″N 26°6′30.5″E

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (Romanian: Mormântul Soldatului Necunoscut) is a monument located in Bucharest, Romania. Dedicated to the soldiers who died while fighting for Romania. It is one of many such national tombs. It was built in 1923 to commemorate the Romanians who died during World War I.
