Lake Tineretului

Tineretului Park (Romanian: Parcul Tineretului, "Youth's Park") is a large public park in southern Bucharest (Sector 4).

Polyvalent Hall of Bucharest (Romanian: Sala Polivalentă din București) is a multi-purpose indoor arena on the Tineretului Park in Bucharest, Romania. It is home to the CSM București of the National Handball League (LNHF). With a seating capacity of 5,300, the Sala Polivalentă also regularly hosts concerts, conventions and shows.

Constantin Brâncoveanu is a metro station in Bucharest. It is named after Constantin Brâncoveanu, a Wallachian prince (1654–1714). It is located at the junction of the Olteniței Road (Șoseaua Olteniței) and the Constantin Brâncoveanu boulevard (Bd. Constantin Brâncoveanu), right next to the southern entrance into Tineretului Park, providing easy access to the Sala Polivalentă (Polivalenta Hall, a frequent host to sport events and concerts). Here one can find "Orașelul copiilor" (City of the kids), the greatest amusement park in Romania. Since the fall of communism the platform has been dominated by a statue of Constantin Brâncoveanu and his sons, replacing the older statue of Ion Popescu-Puțuri, a communist leader. The station opened on 5 December 1988, two years after the southern section of the M2 Line opened, likely due to lack of demand for the station in the area, when the line opened at first.

Șerban Vodă Cemetery (commonly known as Bellu Cemetery) is the largest and most famous cemetery in Bucharest, Romania. It is located on a plot of land donated to the local administration by Baron Barbu Bellu. It has been in use since 1858. The cemetery covers 54 acres and it is one of the most authentic cultural attractions in Bucharest.

The 20th century history of cremation in Romania began in 1923, when the Romanian Cremation Society, called Cenușa ("Ashes"), was formed. In February 1928, the Bucharest Crematorium, also called Cenușa, began operations. It cremated 262 corpses that year, the figure rising to 602 in 1934. In 1935, 0.19% of Romania's dead were cremated there.

City Mall was a shopping mall located in Eroii Revolutiei square, Bucharest, Romania. Opened in 2005, the construction was based on an incomplete hunger circus abandoned after the fall of the Communist system.The mall became insolvent in 2012, and was bought by real estate investor Ioannis Papalekas. In March 2013, Papalekas announced plans to convert the mall into an office building.

Eroii Revoluției (English: Heroes of the Revolution) is a metro station in Bucharest, on Bucharest Metro Line M2. It was initially named Pieptănari, but the name was changed to commemorate those people who died during the Romanian Revolution of 1989. The station was opened on 24 January 1986 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Piața Unirii to Depoul IMGB.

Gheorghe Șincai National College (Romanian: Colegiul Național Gheorghe Șincai) is a high school located at 167 Calea Șerban Vodă, Bucharest, Romania.

The Bucharest Sephardic Jewish Cemetery (Romanian: Cimitirul evreiesc Sefard din București) is one of three active Jewish cemeteries that still exist in Bucharest. The cemetery is located on 2 Olteniței Street, across the street from Bellu Cemetery, and was opened in 1865. It has an area between 4 and 5 hectares large, and contains 10,300 graves.

The Manu Cavafu Church (Romanian: Biserica Manu Cavafu) is a Romanian Orthodox church located at 4 Gheorghe Șincai Boulevard in Bucharest, Romania, near Tineretului metro station. It is dedicated to the Holy Trinity and to the Archangels Michael and Gabriel. The date of the church’s construction was not precisely known until 1969, particularly as the pisanie (inscription) is partly deteriorated. That year, the parish priest discovered a petition from the Christians of the Broșteni district to the Metropolitan of Ungro-Wallachia. Authored by Manul "Cavaful", head of the shoemakers’ (cavafi) guild, the document asks permission for building a church on the land of the late Hagi Dumitrache Papazoglu, in accordance with his will. It is dated July 1815, and construction probably started on August 15, a date mentioned on the inscription. The structure was probably erected by summer 1816, and was completely finished by November 1817, as attested by a document of that date.Repairs were carried out in 1868, 1891 and 1906, while the painting was redone in 1929. Thorough repairs took place in 1949–1950 and 1957. Repainting was done under Patriarch Justinian, whose portrait appears among the ktetors. The 1930 parish house was demolished in 1985 to make way for the surrounding apartment blocks. The church has two spires, one above the nave, the other, the bell tower, above the narthex. The iconostasis is carved in wood and gilt. The facades are simple, with a classical cornice and pediment on the western side, painted with three panels of saints’ icons.The church is listed as a historic monument by Romania's Ministry of Culture and Religious Affairs.

Tineretului is a small (0,62 km2) neighborhood in south Bucharest, Romania in Sector 4, close to the city center, named after the nearby Tineretului Park. It is one of the preferred neighborhoods by people seeking to buy an apartment. This is due to the well established public transportation (two metro lines, bus and tram routes), two nearby parks; along with banks, commercial spaces and schools. In 2015 there were a number of 17.981 people registered living in this area.

The Cărămidarii de Jos Church (Romanian: Biserica Cărămidarii de Jos) is a Romanian Orthodox church located at 3 Piscului Street in Bucharest, Romania. It is dedicated to Saints Demetrius, George and Tryphon.
