Al-Maghar

Qatra (Arabic: قطرة) was a Palestinian Arab village in the Ramle Subdistrict, located 15 kilometers (9.3 mi) southwest of the city of Ramla and 40 kilometers (25 mi) west of Jerusalem, some 50 meters (160 ft) above sea level. It was depopulated in May 1948.

The Yeshurun Central Synagogue (Hebrew: בית הכנסת המרכזי ישורון) was the first synagogue to be built in Gedera, Israel during the time of the Biluim, forerunners of the kibbutz movement 1882 from the Russian Empire. Before the synagogue was built, the first settlers used a shack as a synagogue. The synagogue was built on the same exact spot. Yeshurun or Jeshurun is a poetic name for Israel (Deut. 32:15;), the Land of Israel (Deut. 33:5;), or the Patriarch Jacob (Genesis 32:29)

Beit Elazari (Hebrew: בֵּית אֶלְעָזָרִי, lit. House of Elazari; Arabic: بيت إلعزاري) is a moshav in central Israel. Located three miles south of the city of Rehovot, it falls under the jurisdiction of Brenner Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 1,568.

Gedera, or less commonly known as Gdera (Hebrew: גְּדֵרָה), is a town in the southern part of the Shfela region in the Central District of Israel founded in 1884. It is 13 kilometres (8 miles) south of Rehovot. In 2019, it had a population of 28,313.

Kfar Mordechai (Hebrew: כְּפַר מָרְדְּכַי) is a moshav in central Israel. Located about 30 kilometers south of Tel Aviv, between Ashdod, Gedera and Yavne, it falls under the jurisdiction of Gederot Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 644.

Beit Gamliel (Hebrew: בֵּית גַּמְלִיאֵל, lit. House of Gamliel) is a religious moshav in central Israel. Located south-east of Yavne, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hevel Yavne Regional Council. In 2019, it had a population of 1,019.

Bnaya (Hebrew: בְּנַיָה) is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the Shephelah near Ashdod, Gedera and Yavne, it falls under the jurisdiction of Brenner Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 798.

Givat Brenner (Hebrew: גִּבְעַת בְּרֶנֶר, lit. Brenner Hill; Arabic: غفعات برينر), is a kibbutz in the Central District of Israel. Located around two kilometres south of Rehovot, it falls under the jurisdiction of Brenner Regional Council. Founded in 1928, it is named after writer Yosef Haim Brenner, who was killed in the Jaffa riots of 1921. In 2019 it had a population of 2,678. It is the largest kibbutz in Israel.

Brenner Regional Council (Hebrew: מועצה אזורית ברנר, Mo'atza Azorit Brenner; Arabic: المجلس الإقليمي برنر), is a regional council in the Central District of Israel. It is located in the coastal plain, in the vicinity of Rehovot and Yavne. The council is named after writer Yosef Haim Brenner, killed in the Jaffa riots of 1921. The Council was established in 1950, with a jurisdiction of 36,000 dunams. As of 2007, the six communities in the council (two kibbutzim and four moshavim) are home to approximately 6,000 inhabitants.

Kidron (Hebrew: קִדְרוֹן) is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the Shephelah just east of Gedera, and near the Tel Nof Airbase, it falls under the jurisdiction of Brenner Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 1,607.

Meishar (Hebrew: מֵישָׁר) is a moshav in south-central Israel. Located in the coastal plain near Gedera, it falls under the jurisdiction of Gederot Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 811.

Shahma (Arabic: شحمة) was a Palestinian Arab village located 15 kilometers (9.3 mi) southwest of Ramla. Depopulated on the eve of the 1948 Arab-Israeli war, the village lands today form part of a fenced-in area used by the Israeli Air Force.
