Pedro Gil station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Ermita, Manila. It is situated at the corner of Taft Avenue and Pedro Gil Street. The station takes its name from Pedro Gil Street, which is used to be named Herran Street. Pedro Gil station is the seventh station for trains headed to Fernando Poe Jr., and the fourteenth station for trains headed to Baclaran. Landmarks near the station include the Philippine General Hospital, the University of the Philippines Manila, Philippine Christian University, Philippine Women's University, Robinsons Manila, and St. Paul University Manila.

The St. Paul University Manila, also referred to by its acronym SPUM or SPU Manila, is a private, Catholic coeducational basic and higher education institution established and run by the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Paul of Chartres in Dumaguete City, Philippines. It was established in 1912 by the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres (SPC), a religious congregation founded in Chartres, France in 1698. It was previously an all-girls' school and turned co-ed beginning school year 2005-2006.On 1912, St. Paul's Manila opened a Kindergarten school with an enrollment of six girls, upon request of the families in the neighborhood.The school was named St. Paul Institution. Grade I was opened in 1913 with one higher grade opened each year and boys accepted up to Grade 2. The Grade School Department was given government recognition when it has reached Grade 6.

It is the headquarters of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines. The Philippine General Hospital (also known as University of the Philippines–Philippine General Hospital or UP–Philippine General Hospital), simply referred to as UP–PGH or PGH, is a tertiary state-owned hospital administered and operated by the University of the Philippines Manila. It is designated as the National University Hospital, and the national government referral center. It stands within a 10-hectare (25-acre) site located at the UP Manila Campus in Ermita, Manila. PGH has 1,100 beds and 400 private beds, and has an estimated of 4,000 employees to serve more than 600,000 patients every year.The PGH, being the largest training hospital in the country, is the laboratory hospital of health science students enrolled in the University of the Philippines. This includes students of medicine, nursing, physical therapy, pharmacy, occupational therapy, dentistry, and speech pathology. There are 16 clinical departments under the Philippine General Hospital — Family and Community Medicine, Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurosciences, Pediatrics, Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Rehabilitation Medicine, Psychiatry, Radiology, Pathology, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Dermatology—all of which offer residency and fellowship training. It also offers various training for paramedical specialties such as nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, radiation technology, nutrition, hospital dentistry, medical technology and EMT training.

Bellevue Theater is a small theater located in Paco district, Manila, Philippines. The theater adopted Philippine Islamic imagery as its art deco theme, borrowing inspiration from the tradition of moro-moro theatrical scenography.

The San Fernando de Dilao Parish (Filipino: Simbahan ng San Fernando de Dilao ng Paco; Spanish: Iglesia Parroquial de San Fernando de Dilao; Latin: Ecclesiae Paroecialis a Sancti Fernandi Regis in loco v.d. Paco), also known as Paco Church, is a parish church located in the district of Paco in the city of Manila, Philippines, honoring the Castillian king saint Fernando III de Castilla y León. From February 7, 2012 to April 9, 2014, the parish was used as the pro-cathedral of Manila, during the structural renovations of the Manila Cathedral. The church inside is notable for its Romanesque-Byzantine interior with recently Italian Baroque styled altar, most notably the Latin inscriptions similar in style to Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome. The church is currently administered by its parish priest, Rev. Fr. Sanny C. de Claro. In addition, the church provides active medical, dental, and ENT charitable services for its poor parishioners within the community.
