The Iglesia Filipina Independiente National Cathedral, canonically known as the Cathedral of the Holy Child, is the national cathedral of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente (Philippine Independent Church) and the seat of the Obispo Maximo (Supreme Bishop), the Church's chief pastor and spiritual head, located in Ermita, Manila, Philippines. It was built in 1969 and was dedicated to the honor of the Holy Infant Jesus, patron of Tondo, Manila. It replaced the first cathedral in Tondo, built in 1905, which was completely destroyed during World War II.

Pedro Gil station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Ermita, Manila. It is situated at the corner of Taft Avenue and Pedro Gil Street. The station takes its name from Pedro Gil Street, which is used to be named Herran Street. Pedro Gil station is the seventh station for trains headed to Fernando Poe Jr., and the fourteenth station for trains headed to Baclaran. The Philippine Christian University (PCU) is a private, Protestant coeducational basic and higher education institution located in Ermita, Manila, Philippines. It was founded in 1946 through the initiatives of the laymen of the Evangelical Association of the Philippines. Originally named as Manila Union University, it was renamed as Philippine Christian College (PCC). In 1976, the PCC acquired university status.PCU is one of the two major mainline protestant universities at the heart of Metro Manila. The other is Trinity University of Asia (founded under the auspices of the Protestant Episcopal Church). It is also a member institution of Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities (ACSCU). The university maintains a satellite campus in Iloilo City through a partnership with the St. Roberts International Academy.

It is the headquarters of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines. It was declared as a Historical Landmark in 1987 by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (formerly National Historical Institute).

The Philippine Nurses Association is a professional organization in the Philippines established to promote the holistic welfare of nurses and to prepare them to be globally-competitive. It used to be known as Filipino Nurses Association (FNA). It was founded by Anastacia Giron-Tupas in 1922. The headquarters is located at 1663 F.T. Benitez Street, in Malate, Manila.

The Philippine Women's University – School of Fine Arts and Design (PWU-SFAD) is the academic institution of Fine Arts and Design of the Philippine Women's University. PWU-SFAD is located along one city block in the district of Malate in the City of Manila bounded by Taft Avenue and the streets of Malvar, Nakpil and Leon Guinto.

The Philippine General Hospital (also known as University of the Philippines–Philippine General Hospital or UP–Philippine General Hospital), simply referred to as UP–PGH or PGH, is a tertiary state-owned hospital administered and operated by the University of the Philippines Manila. It is designated as the National University Hospital, and the national government referral center. It stands within a 10-hectare (25-acre) site located at the UP Manila Campus in Ermita, Manila. PGH has 1,100 beds and 400 private beds, and has an estimated of 4,000 employees to serve more than 600,000 patients every year.The PGH, being the largest training hospital in the country, is the laboratory hospital of health science students enrolled in the University of the Philippines. This includes students of medicine, nursing, physical therapy, pharmacy, occupational therapy, dentistry, and speech pathology. There are 16 clinical departments under the Philippine General Hospital — Family and Community Medicine, Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurosciences, Pediatrics, Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Rehabilitation Medicine, Psychiatry, Radiology, Pathology, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Dermatology—all of which offer residency and fellowship training. It also offers various training for paramedical specialties such as nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, radiation technology, nutrition, hospital dentistry, medical technology and EMT training.

The Philippine Women's University (PWU) is a tertiary education school which has its main campus in Manila, Philippines. An institution exclusive for girls from its inception until the 1970s, the PWU now admits both women and men as its students. PWU's basic education department is called the Jose Abad Santos Memorial School (PWU JASMS) and has two campuses in Manila and Quezon City.

The Paco Park (originally named as Cementerio General de Dilao) is a recreational garden and was once Manila's municipal cemetery built by the Dominicans during the Spanish colonial period. It is located on General Luna Street and at the east end of Padre Faura Street in Paco, Manila, Philippines. Paco Park has also become a popular venue for TV and film shootings, weddings, pre-nuptial shoots, private gatherings and cultural programs.One of its exposures in a movie was in Starting Over Again (2014 film) , wherein most of the memorable life of Ginny with Marco was shot in this place. Also, in the start of the movie, Marco was seen doing a history lectures to his other students, for he was a history professor in the movie before being a businessman.

Bellevue Theater is a small theater located in Paco district, Manila, Philippines. The theater adopted Philippine Islamic imagery as its art deco theme, borrowing inspiration from the tradition of moro-moro theatrical scenography.
