The São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (in Portuguese, Museu da Imagem e do Som de São Paulo, or MIS) is a public museum of audio-visual works, established in 1970 and located in São Paulo, Brazil. The museum was founded as a result of a project conducted in the 1960s by Brazilian intellectuals, such as Ricardo Cravo Albin, Paulo Emílio Salles Gomes and Rudá de Andrade, with the purpose of endowing the country with institutions devoted to studying and documenting works of the new media that had been ignored by traditional museums.The museum is housed in a 5,000 square meters building in Pinheiros district, inaugurated in 1975. During the 1970s and 1980s, the museum had an active role as a center of artistic diffusion and education-related activities, becoming an important reference for studies on the Brazilian audio-visual production. The museum's collection includes more than 350,000 entries. It comprises films (shorts, features, and documentaries), videos, records, photographs, works of graphic design, etc. The museum keeps an important program of transcription and documentation of oral tradition and the LabMIS, a research and production center for new media with an artist-in-residence program.

The Ema Gordon Klabin Cultural Foundation (in Portuguese Fundação Cultural Ema Gordon Klabin) is an art museum located in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. Officially established in 1978, it is a not-for-profit private institution, legally declared as an organization of federal public interest. It was created by the Brazilian collector and philanthropist Ema Gordon Klabin (1907–1994), with the purpose of preserving and displaying her art collection, as well as promoting cultural, artistic and scientific activities. The foundation is headquartered in Ema's former house in Jardins district, specially designed by architect Alfredo Ernesto Becker in the 1950s to hold her collection. The house is surrounded by a 4,000 square meters garden projected by Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx.The Foundation's collection includes more than 1,500 pieces, covering some of the most compelling periods of Western art history, from Greek and Etruscan civilizations to European masters, with important works from the Dutch, Flemish, Italian and French schools, as well as works from Asian cultures, African and pre-Columbian art. Brazilian art is also outlined in the collection, which includes examples ranging from colonial period to the first generations of modernists. The Foundation's library holds an assemblage of rare books, ranging from illuminated manuscripts to incunables.

Fradique Coutinho is a metro station on Line 4 (Yellow) of the São Paulo Metro operated by ViaQuatro. The station is located at Rua dos Pinheiros, 623 in the Pinheiros neighborhood. Although originally slated to open in 2010, the station was not inaugurated until 15 November 2014.

The Iguatemi São Paulo shopping centre is the oldest Brazilian mall in operation. Located in the Brigadeiro Faria Lima Avenue, in the Jardins neighbourhood, the shopping mall was opened in November 28, 1966 (1966-11-28).

Conjunto Nacional is an important building and commercial centre of the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It occupies the block bounded by Avenida Paulista, Rua Augusta, Alameda Santos and Rua Padre João Manuel. The project was authored by architect David Libeskind and is characterized by being one of the first major modern multifunctional buildings deployed in the city of São Paulo.The complex is characterized by the blending of different uses in the same urban structure: within the building are the following usages: residential, commercial, services and leisure. The relationship between the collective trade usages, leisure-and uses private residences-gives the composition between two parts: in the horizontal part, which occupies the entire block on which to deploy the building-is a shopping arcade, and the vertical part, which occupies only a part of the projection of the terrain are the apartments. The Gallery proposal in the National Assembly became an architectural paradigm for projects of similar buildings in the central area of São Paulo during the 1950s decade. Conjunto Nacional has restaurants, offices and other types of shops and services, plus the largest bookstore in Latin America by built area, the Livraria Cultura. For many years it housed the Cine Astor and the Fasano Restaurant. In 2005, the building was listed by Condephaat, the State Council of Defense of historical and architectural heritage.

Teatro Lira Paulistana was a theatre in São Paulo, Brazil.

D.O.M. (Latin abbreviation of Deo optimo maximo) is a Brazilian cuisine restaurant in São Paulo run by Brazilian chef Alex Atala. Known for the use of native Brazilian ingredients, D.O.M. has been considered the best restaurant in South America since 2006 by Restaurant magazine, and since 2006 included in the S.Pellegrino World's 50 Best Restaurants list. In May 2012 the restaurant reached 4th place in the prestigious list. In 2014 Atala and D.O.M. won the Chefs Choice award. It was featured in volume two of Chef's Table. Atala researches the ingredients used in his restaurant and supervises production in various parts of Brazil. Some of these ingredients include tucupi juice, pirarucu and piraíba fishes, jambu and the tapioca from manioc flour.

The Hotel Unique is a hotel located in the district of Jardins in the Brazilian city of São Paulo, established in 2002. The 25 metres (82 ft) tall building, designed by architect Ruy Ohtake, was projected in the shape of a 100 metres (330 ft) inverted arc, taking advantage of the district's zoning limit of seven-story buildings. Its shape is compared to a boat or a watermelon. The hotel houses 95 apartments, 10 of which are suites, and on its terrace is the restaurant Skye.

Faria Lima is a metro station on Line 4-Yellow of the São Paulo Metro operated by ViaQuatro. It is localized in Avenida Brigadeiro Faria Lima, between Rua Teodoro Sampaio and Rua Cardeal Arcoverde, in the district of Pinheiros. Had its civil construction concluded in February 2010. The prediction for the commercial operation was March 2010, but was delayed to 25 May 2010, day which line started operating between stations Faria Lima and Paulista. The delay was caused by the train tests. The station should also have a connection with future Line 20-Pink (Santa Marina–Santo André).

Largo da Batata is a public square located in the district of Pinheiros, in the Brazilian city of São Paulo. It is located at the confluence of Brigadeiro Faria Lima Avenue and the streets Pinheiros, Teodoro Sampaio, Cardeal Arcoverde, Baltazar Carrasco, Martim Carrasco, Chopin Tavares de Lima and Fernão Dias.The Metro Line 4 Faria Lima Station and the Largo da Batata bus terminal (under construction) are located there. Largo da Batata became a rallying point for political demonstrations.

Galeria Luisa Strina is an art gallery founded by art collector Luisa Malzone Strina. The main gallery and its annex are located in São Paulo, Brasil. It is the oldest art gallery of contemporary art in Brazil.
