Sudbury Hill

Sudbury Hill is a London Underground station on the Uxbridge branch of the Piccadilly line. The station is between Sudbury Town and South Harrow, and is in Travelcard Zone 4. It is located on Greenford Road (A4127) north of the junction with Whitton Avenue, on the border between the London Boroughs of Harrow and Ealing. The station is close to Sudbury Hill Harrow railway station.

Grove Farm is an 8 hectare Local Nature Reserve (LNR) in Greenford in the London Borough of Ealing. It was declared an LNR in 2002 by Ealing Council, which owns and manages the site.The site has ancient woodland, and woodland flower species, while trees include the wild service tree. Plant species include welted thistle, hairy violet, pepper saxifrage and adders tongue fern.There is a circular path, and there is access from Whitton Avenue West, Dimmock Drive and Lilian Board Way.

Sudbury Hill Harrow railway station is a National Rail station on the Chiltern Main Line in the London Borough of Harrow in northwest London. The station is served by Chiltern Railways trains from Marylebone towards High Wycombe and Birmingham Snow Hill, and is in Travelcard Zone 4. This station also has an Oyster card facility located at the entrance and exit. The station is situated between Northolt Park and Sudbury & Harrow Road stations. The station is close to Sudbury Hill Underground station on the Piccadilly line.

North Greenford United Football Club is a football club based in Greenford in the London Borough of Ealing, England. They play in the Combined Counties League Premier Division North. The club is affiliated to the Middlesex County Football Association.

Tír Chonaill Gaels Gaelic Football Club are a Gaelic football club based in Greenford, London. The club was formed in London in 1962, making it one of the oldest clubs outside Ireland. The club is one of the most successful in the London GAA, with many players representing London at Inter-County level.

Orley Farm School is one of the largest coeducational preparatory day school in the London borough of Harrow, at the foot of Harrow Hill on South Hill Avenue. It was founded as the preparatory school for the nearby Harrow School in 1850 but is now a fully independent school in its own right and leavers continue to other independent schools. The school grounds cover over 39 acres (160,000 m2).

Harrow on the Hill is a locality and historic village in the borough of Harrow in Greater London, England. The name refers to Harrow Hill, 408 feet (124 m), and is located some half a mile south of the modern town of Harrow. The village dates back to early medieval times, built around the 11th-century St Mary's Church, and is the location of Harrow, St Dominic's and John Lyon schools .

The college was opened and initiated by Cardinal Hume. The college was awarded ’Sixth Form college of the year’ from The Times newspaper in 2017.

The London Borough of Harrow is a London borough in north-west London, England, and forms part of Outer London. It borders four other London boroughs – Barnet to the east of ancient Watling Street (now the A5 road), Brent to the south-east, Ealing to the south and Hillingdon to the west – plus the Hertfordshire districts of Three Rivers and Hertsmere to the north. The local authority is Harrow London Borough Council. The London borough was formed in 1965, based on boundaries that had been established in 1934. The borough is made up of three towns: Harrow proper, Pinner, and Stanmore, but also includes western parts of Edgware; it is of suburban character and includes some countryside in the northern outskirts.

Greenford is a London Underground and National Rail station in Greenford, Greater London, and is owned and managed by London Underground. It is the terminus of the National Rail Greenford Branch Line, 2 miles 40 chains (4.0 km) down the line from West Ealing and 9 miles 6 chains (14.6 km) measured from London Paddington. On the Central line, it is between Perivale and Northolt stations while on National Rail, the next station to the south on the branch is South Greenford. Greenford station is in Travelcard Zone 4.

Perivale Wood is an 11.6 hectare Local Nature Reserve (LNR) and Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation in Perivale in the London Borough of Ealing. It is one of the oldest nature reserves in Britain. The Selborne Society has managed it since 1902, at first as a bird sanctuary. In 1914 it leased the site and in 1923 it purchased it. The wood was designated an LNR in 1974.The site is mainly old oak woodland, with areas of pasture and damp scrub, three ponds and two streams. Plant species include adders tongue fern, and there have been records of 568 species of moths, 17 of mammals and 115 of birds. The Selborne Society was founded in 1885 as a national body to commemorate the work of the naturalist Gilbert White, but is now principally a local body managing Perivale Wood.The entrance in Sunley Gardens is locked except on the reserve open day on a Sunday in April.

Harrow on the Hill was an urban district in Middlesex, England from 1894 to 1934.It was created under the Local Government Act 1894. This Act split the historic parish of Harrow on the Hill several ways, with parts becoming the new parishes of Harrow Weald, Wealdstone and Wembley. The remaining part of the parish formed Harrow on the Hill urban district. It took in 101 acres (0.41 km2) from the disbanded parish of Northolt in 1928. In 1934 the district was abolished by a County Review Order, becoming part of the new Harrow Urban District; a precursor of the London Borough of Harrow.
