Perivale Wood

Perivale Halt railway station was a station on the New North Main Line of the Great Western Railway. It served the London suburb of Perivale from 1904 to 1947, when it was replaced by Perivale station on the Central line of the London Underground.

Greenford Urban District was an urban district of Middlesex, England from 1894 to 1926. It was formed from the parishes of Greenford, Perivale and West Twyford. It replaced the Brentford rural sanitary district, which covered these parishes. It was abolished in 1926 and its former area was absorbed by the Municipal Borough of Ealing.

Perivale is a London Underground station in Perivale in north-west London. It is located on the West Ruislip branch of the Central line, between Greenford and Hanger Lane stations, and is in Travelcard Zone 4.

Hanwell Town Football Club are a semi-professional football club representing Hanwell, but currently playing in Perivale in the London Borough of Ealing, England. They were the London Spartan League Senior Division champions in 1983 and the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division champions in 2014. The club is affiliated to the Middlesex County Football Association.

Kensington & Ealing Borough Football Club is a semi-professional football club originally based in London, England. They are currently members of the Combined Counties League Division One and play at Hanwell Town's Reynolds Field ground in Perivale.

Tír Chonaill Gaels Gaelic Football Club are a Gaelic football club based in Greenford, London. The club was formed in London in 1962, making it one of the oldest clubs outside Ireland. The club is one of the most successful in the London GAA, with many players representing London at Inter-County level.

South Greenford railway station is in the London Borough of Ealing in west London, and is on the Greenford branch in Travelcard Zone 4. It is 1 mile 58 chains (2.8 km) down the line from West Ealing and 8 miles 24 chains (13.4 km) measured from London Paddington. All trains serving South Greenford are operated by Great Western Railway. The station is located on the A40, south of Greenford Green, north-east of Greenford Broadway, and just west of Perivale.

Perivale () is an area of Greater London, 9.5 miles (15.3 km) west of Charing Cross. It is the smallest of the seven towns which make up the London Borough of Ealing. Perivale is mostly residential, with a library, community centre, a number of parks and open spaces, as well as a large industrial estate. Landmarks include the grade II* listed Art Deco Hoover Building, as well as St Mary's Church (c. 12th century), Horsenden Hill park and Perivale Wood Local Nature Reserve run by the Selborne Society. Perivale forms part of the UB6 postcode area, along with Greenford.

St Mary's is a 12th- or 13th-century English re-used church building, during its religious lifetime dedicated to St Mary, in the London suburb of Perivale. It was the smallest of Anglican churches in the dissolved county of Middlesex, excluding the City of London. It became separated from almost all of its parish's population by the development and heavy traffic on the A40 trunk road so that the parish was dissolved and church disbanded in 1972. It was adopted by a charitable organisation formed from the local community, the Friends of St Mary, and it functions as an arts centre, holding local exhibitions and performances of classical music. The church is built of rag-stone and flint, and its tower is unusual, being clad in white weatherboarding. It contains a chime of three bells, all cast in 1949 as a World War II memorial for the war dead of the community and small parish as a whole.The church was Grade I listed in 1950.

Horsenden Hill (; grid reference TQ 161 843) is a hill and open space, located between the Perivale, Sudbury, and Greenford areas of West London. It is in the London Borough of Ealing, close to the boundary with the London Borough of Brent. It is one of the higher eminences in the local area, rising to 85 m (276 ft) above sea level, and the summit forms part of the site of an ancient hillfort. It is the site of a trig point, TP4024.

The Northolt tunnel will carry the High Speed 2 (HS2) railway line under West London, England. The twin-bore tunnels will run between Old Oak Common railway station and Ruislip. Plans for the construction of a tunnel were first unveiled in early 2013; it was hailed as being less disruptive and quicker to construct that a surface-based alignment. An option for the tunnel's extension along the Colne Valley to replace the proposed Colne Valley Viaduct was studied but rejected as unnecessarily costly during 2015. Extensive ground surveys along the intended route were conducted during the 2010s in advance of construction work. During April 2020, it was announced that a contract worth approximately £3.3 billion had been awarded to a joint venture company, Skanska Costain Strabag, for the tunnel's construction.
