Collège Laval

The Colisée de Laval is a 3,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Laval, Quebec, Canada. Built in 1954, it has been the home of many minor league and junior ice hockey teams. In 2019, the Les Pétroliers du Nord of the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey moved into Colisée de Laval after signing a five-year lease.

Saint-Vincent-de-Paul is a district in the eastern part of Laval, Quebec, Canada. Saint-Vincent-de-Paul was a town before August 6, 1965. Saint-Vincent-de-Paul is named after Vincent de Paul.

The Mondial Loto-Québec de Laval, also known as Mondial Choral, or Mondial Choral Loto-Québec (up to 2011) is a summer festival occurring in Laval, Quebec, Canada which takes place annually since 2005. Pie IX Bridge is a bridge in Quebec, spanning the Rivière des Prairies. It connects the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul area of Laval, on Île Jésus, and the borough of Montréal-Nord in Montreal, on the Island of Montreal. The bridge was part of Autoroute 25 until the construction of the new toll bridge for Autoroute 25. It is now part of Quebec Route 125. While it was originally called Le Caron Bridge, after Joseph Le Caron, an early missionary to the Hurons, the bridge has since been renamed Pie IX Bridge, after Pie-IX Boulevard. The Boulevard itself was named after Pope Pius IX (Pie is the French name for Pius).

École secondaire Calixa-Lavallée is a francophone public secondary school located in the borough of Montréal-Nord, Montreal, Quebec. Part of the Commission scolaire de la Pointe-de-l'Île (CSPI), it was originally in the catholic School board Commission des écoles catholiques de Montréal(CECM) before the 1998 reorganization of School boards from religious communities into linguistic communities in Quebec. In 1998, along with some other schools in the eastern portion of CECM, it was transferred into the territory of the former Commission scolaire Jérôme-Le Royer, which was replaced by CSPI. École secondaire Calixa-Lavallée offers regular and special education programs, welcoming classes and also professional and adults programs. This school hosts actually 1 661 students and 132 teachers.

Duvernay is a district in the eastern part of Laval and was a separate city until the municipal mergers on August 6, 1965.

The Rivière des Prairies (pronounced [ʁivjɛʁ de pʁɛʁi]; literally River of the Prairies), called the Back River in English is a delta channel of the Ottawa River in southwestern Quebec, Canada. The Kanien'kehá:ka called it Skowanoti, meaning "River behind the island". The river separates the cities of Laval and Montreal.

The Rivière des Prairies generating station (in French: Centrale de la Rivière des Prairies) is a run of river hydroelectric power station on the Rivière des Prairies between the islands of Jesus and Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Built in 1929, it is now managed and operated by Hydro-Québec. It has a generating capacity of 48 MW. There is no lock allowing boats to bypass the dam. Sauvé was a former provincial electoral district in the Canadian province of Quebec. It included part of the city and later borough of Montréal-Nord. It was created for the 1973 election from part of Bourassa electoral district. Its final election was in 1998. In the 2003 election, part of Bourassa and all of Sauvé were combined again to create Bourassa-Sauvé. It was named after former Quebec Premier Paul Sauvé, who led the province for 100 days in 1959 after the death of Maurice Duplessis, until his own death.

Lester B. Pearson High School (French: École secondaire Lester B. Pearson) is an English language secondary school located in Montreal North, a borough of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is part of the English Montreal School Board. It was established in 1976. The Canadian student press, Learning for a Cause, was founded here in 2004. The school is also known for its unique student-athlete academic program. Prior to 1998, it was operated by the Montreal Catholic School Commission.

Bourassa-Sauvé is a provincial electoral district in Quebec, Canada, that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It is located within Montreal and consists of most of the borough of Montréal-Nord. It was created for the 2003 election from parts of Bourassa and Sauvé. In the change from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map, its territory was unchanged.
