WKBN (570 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in Youngstown, Ohio. It has a news/talk format and is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. The studios and offices are on South Avenue in Youngstown.WKBN is powered at 5,000 watts from a six-tower array on East Western Reserve and Beard roads in Poland, Ohio. By day, it operates a non-directional signal from a single tower. Due to its location near the bottom of the AM dial, as well as its transmitter power, its daytime signal can be heard at city-grade strength from Cleveland to Pittsburgh, and provides at least secondary coverage to Erie, Pennsylvania, most of the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia, portions of southern Ontario, and much of north-central Ohio. At night, power is fed to all six towers in a directional pattern to protect other stations on 570 AM, concentrating the signal in Youngstown and Pittsburgh.

Deep Freeze Ice Arena is located in Boardman, Ohio, a suburb of Youngstown, Ohio. Deep Freeze Ice Arena has one Olympic-sized ice sheet. New owners have taken over. The rink used to be called The Ice Zone but has been bought by the owner of the Boardman Extreme Air and is now renamed, Deep Freeze Ice Arena. It currently serves as the USHL Youngstown Phantoms practice facility.Controversy emerged after the owners of Extreme Air purchased the Ice Zone, when the freon from the ice compressor machines was stolen, possibly by associates of Bruce Zoldan, the previous owner. Also, the ice was melted before possession was transferred to the new owners. This resulted in an interruption of operations at the Ice Zone; youth programs such as ice hockey and figure skating lost ice time as a result. According to Zoldan, the new owners bought the building, not the equipment.

Its anchor stores are JCPenney and Macy's, with junior anchors H&M, Shoe Dept. Encore, and Planet Fitness.
