Poland Township is one of the fourteen townships of Mahoning County, Ohio, United States. The 2020 census found 14,664 people in the township.

Struthers High School is a public high school in Struthers, Ohio, United States. It is the only secondary school in the Struthers City School District. Athletic teams compete as the Struthers Wildcats in the Ohio High School Athletic Association as a member of the Northeast 8 Athletic Conference. According to the U.S. News & World Report, in 2016 Struthers High School was ranked 137th within Ohio and 2482nd Nationally. The school has a College Readiness Score of 22.4/100.0, with an Advanced Placement participation rate of 34% and Subject Proficiencies of 97% in English and 94% in Mathematics.

Struthers is a city in eastern Mahoning County, Ohio, United States, along the Mahoning River. The population was 10,063 at the 2020 census. Located directly southeast of Youngstown, it is a suburb of the Youngstown–Warren metropolitan area.

Due to its location near the bottom of the AM dial, as well as its transmitter power, its daytime signal can be heard at city-grade strength from Cleveland to Pittsburgh, and provides at least secondary coverage to Erie, Pennsylvania, most of the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia, portions of southern Ontario, and much of north-central Ohio. At night, power is fed to all six towers in a directional pattern to protect other stations on 570 AM, concentrating the signal in Youngstown and Pittsburgh.

Evans Lake is a private lake in southeastern Mahoning County, Ohio, owned by Aqua Ohio, a subsidiary of Aqua America (formerly Consumers Ohio Water Company). It is located about five miles from the Pennsylvania border at an elevation of 1,071 feet. At normal levels, it has a surface area of 582 acres. Evans Lake was created in 1948 when construction was completed on the Evans Lake Dam on Yellow Creek. The lake is used for drinking water, fishing and recreation.
