Charlotte Secondary School

Charlotte United Christian Academy is a private Christian school in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was founded in 2009 by Resurrection Church and Garr Church.

Garr Auditorium, also previously identified by the names Cannon Cathedral, Wesley Heights Church, or Garr Church, is a Pentecostal church in Charlotte, North Carolina founded by Alfred Goodrich Garr and his wife Lillian. They founded the church in 1930 and officially moved into the building they constructed in 1933, where the church stood for 80 years until 2010. The church was relocated after Hurricane Hugo in 1989, and operated at 7700 Wallace Rd in Charlotte, North Carolina. The building was destroyed in the early 2010s, and has since been replaced by a parking lot for a dealership.

As one of six synagogues in Charlotte, it serves more than 650 member families. The rabbi since July 2020 is Michael Wolk, who took over from interim Rabbi Howard Seigel. Seigel succeeding the long serving rabbi of 24 years, Murray Ezring. The cantor since 2018 has been soprano Shira T Lissek, previously of Park Avenue Synagogue, New York.

The station's studios are located at 1 Julian Price Place just off Morehead Street in Charlotte. The transmitter site is in Charlotte's Newell South neighborhood. WFNZ-FM is the Charlotte affiliate of CBS Sports Radio, carrying network programming on nights and weekends. It airs local sports hosts weekdays from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. WFNZ serves as the flagship station for the NBA'S Charlotte Hornets and Major League Soccer's Charlotte FC. Whenever there is a conflict, Charlotte FC matches air on sister stations WBT AM-FM.

The R.F. Outen Pottery is a historic industrial facility at 430 Jefferson Street in Matthews, North Carolina. The roughly 1.5-acre (0.61 ha) property includes a brick kiln, and a concrete-block workshop, both built about 1952 by Rufus Outen. Abutting the workshop to the north is a metal roofed and sided shed, in which Outen stored clay. Outen, trained by his father at the Matthews Pottery, produced utilitarian folk pottery on these premises until his retirement in 1976. The facility is a well-preserved example of a complete mid-20th century folk pottery works.The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Grier-Rea House is a historic farmhouse located near Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The "L"-shaped dwelling consists of a two-story, side-gable main block built about 1815, with an original, one-story, rear shed appendage and a two-story, rear ell added about 1830. Also added about 1830 was the hip roofed front porch. The house was moved to its present location in 2002.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.
