The Standard Club is a private country club, founded as the Concordia Association in 1867. Originally located in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, the club is now located in the northern suburb of Johns Creek.

Its students primarily reside inside the city of Johns Creek, though the school also serves part of Alpharetta. All students from River Trail Middle School feed into Northview. Sheltonville or Shake Rag is an unincorporated community in Forsyth and Fulton counties, in the U.S. state of Georgia. Some of the community was formerly located in Milton County until the county was dissolved in 1931, during the Great Depression.

Chattahoochee High School (colloquially referred to as "Hooch") is a public high school in Johns Creek, Georgia, United States, within the Fulton County School System. It is located next to its only feeder school, Taylor Road Middle School. It has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as one of America's Blue Ribbon Schools. Chattahoochee was named the 6th Best Public High School in Georgia by Niche. In 2019, it was named a National PTSA School of Excellence and ranked as a top high school in US World & News Reports (#282 Nationally, #9 in Georgia). It was given a rating of 9 out of a possible 10 by Great Schools Rating.

Johns Creek is a city in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. According to the 2020 census, the population was 82,453. The city is a northeastern suburb of Atlanta.

Notre Dame Academy is a Pre-K through 12 Catholic school in Duluth, Georgia. It is operated independently from the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta. It was established in 2005. Previously it was a PK–8 school. The groundbreaking for the high school building, on a 21-acre (8.5 ha) plot, occurred in 2014. High school classes began in fall 2015.Another private school that focused on students with learning disabilities, Sophia Academy, merged into Notre Dame, effective August 2017. The previous Sophia Academy campus closed, with operations moved to Notre Dame.

Rogers Bridge Park is a riverfront city park and dog park (Chattapoochee Dog Park) in Duluth, Georgia. It is a 16.98 acre park located in the northwestern quadrant of Duluth. The park is a few blocks north of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard on Rogers Bridge Road. Surrounding properties include an adjacent private event facility, a sand dredging facility, and single-family residential neighborhoods.

Ocee was a small community in Milton County, now located in Johns Creek in Fulton County, Georgia. It was centered at 34°03′52″N 84°12′46″W. It was originally called New York, then Mazeppa. The Ocee name, which was taken from the name of a Cherokee community in the area, is still in use today for a school, a park, a library and a church, among others. Ocee is now a part of the new city of Johns Creek, named after Johns Creek which flows just east of it. That city is a part of the municipalization of northern Fulton.

Mathis Airport (FAA LID: GA27) was a private airport located in unincorporated Forsyth County, Georgia, United States, about 5 miles (8.0 km) northwest of Suwanee in the northeastern part of metro Atlanta. The airport closed in October 2014. It had an 1800-foot or 550-meter runway, 1,171 feet (357 m) or 357 meters above mean sea level (AMSL). Mathis Airport sat among residential subdivisions in southern Forsyth County. From 2004 to 2009, Mathis was home to Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1415, but in 2009 this chapter moved to Air Acres airport in Woodstock, GA.

The school was opened in the fall of 2009 and as of 2017 has an enrollment around 2,076.In 2013, Johns Creek was ranked by Newsweek as one of America's best public high schools, #214 in the nation, #5 in the State of Georgia and #2 in Fulton County. As of 2019, Johns Creek High School has 2,142 students enrolled: 44 percent of which are minority students. The student-to-teacher ratio is 20:1. It is ranked 397th nationally, 15th in the state of Georgia, and 5th in Fulton County. The schools boasts of a high 97 percent graduation rate. The school's mascot is the Gladiator.

Perimeter Church is a megachurch in Johns Creek, Georgia. It is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in America, and has approximately between 4,000-5,000 members. The church was founded by Rev. Randy Pope. He is currently the President of Life on Life Ministries, and is the author of four books including "Insourcing: Bringing Discipleship Back to the Local Church" and a discipleship curriculum used globally entitled "The Journey". In September of 2019, the role of lead teacher and directional leader transitioned to Jeff Norris.

Duluth High School is a public secondary school in Duluth, a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It provides education for grades 9-12 and is operated by Gwinnett County Public Schools. The school was built in 1958 and serves Duluth, Berkeley Lake, Peachtree Corners, and unincorporated portions of western Gwinnett County. As of 2019, it has 2,741 students enrolled. DHS holds a Blue Ribbon School award. In its 2012 Georgia rankings, U.S. News & World Report ranked it tenth among all public, charter and magnet schools, fourth among all public schools, and first among all Gwinnett County public schools. Niche ranked Duluth as the most diverse public high school in Georgia and the 24th most diverse public high school in America.
