The Liberty School No. 4, Friendship Building is a school building built in 1899 in the Friendship neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It now houses Pittsburgh Montessori School PreK-5, a public Montessori Magnet School that is part of the Pittsburgh Public School District. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Victoria Hall (also known as Ursuline Academy, as well as the Lynch House) at 201 South Winebiddle Street in the Bloomfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was built for Henry J. Lynch in the late 1860s. It was acquired by the Ursuline Sisters in 1894 and used as a Catholic girls' school, the Ursuline Academy for Young Women from 1895 to 1981. The school building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

The Fort Pitt Elementary School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a building from 1905. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The Albright United Methodist Church is located at 486 S. Graham Street at the nexus of the Bloomfield, Shadyside, and Friendship neighborhoods of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The church was designed by architect Chancey W. Hodgdon in an Eclectic, Richardson Romanesque style with prominent elements of Gothic Revival, and was built in 1905-1906.

Rogers Middle School for the Creative and Performing Arts (Rogers CAPA) was an arts magnet school located in Garfield, near East Liberty, and Highland Park neighborhoods of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Rogers CAPA offers students nine Arts majors: Creative Writing, Dance, Drama, Instrumental, Multimedia, Piano, Stagecraft, Visual Arts, and Vocal. Admission is by portfolio or audition. Academic courses include Communications, Computers, Health, Library, Mathematics, Physical Education, Science, Social Studies, and Spanish. Rogers CAPA is one of ten middle schools in the Pittsburgh Public Schools. In 2005 it was ranked 111th of 500 middle schools in the state of Pennsylvania.In June 2009, this building was closed and the program was merged into the Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts School.

Congregation B'nai Israel is a former synagogue located at 327 North Negley Avenue in the Garfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1923 and was added to the List of Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation Historic Landmarks in 1979.The synagogue closed in 1995 and the building was later used by the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh Charter School. In 2021, ground was broken on a new project which will convert the building into apartments.

Whitehill-Gleason Motors at 5815 Baum Boulevard in the East Liberty neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was built in the 1920s on the site of the first drive-in filling station (1913).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 22, 1999, and was granted a Pennsylvania Historical Marker on July 11, 2000.

The Western Pennsylvania Hospital, commonly referred to as "West Penn Hospital", is located at 4800 Friendship Avenue in the Bloomfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The 317-bed hospital is part of the Allegheny Health Network. It serves as a Clinical Campus of Temple University School of Medicine, offering medical education, including a large number of residency and fellowship programs. It is also the primary clinical setting of the West Penn Hospital School of Nursing.

UPMC Shadyside is a nationally ranked, 520-bed non-profit, tertiary, teaching hospital located in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. UPMC Shadyside is a part of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), and grouped in with the flagship UPMC Presbyterian. The hospital is near UPMC's flagship campus which houses Presbyterian and Montefiore. As the hospital is a teaching hospital, it is affiliated with University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. The hospital has an emergency room to handle emergencies, with a rooftop helipad to transport critical patients to and from the hospital. UPMC Shadyside houses the flagship campus of the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, a nationally ranked cancer hospital.Founded in as the Homeopathic Medical and Surgical Hospital and Dispensary, it changed its name to that of the neighborhood of Shadyside on May 12, 1938. Shadyside agreed to be bought by UPMC on June 5, 1996.

The UPMC Hillman Cancer Center (Hillman), previously titled the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI), is a National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center located in the Hillman Cancer Center in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, adjacent to UPMC Shadyside. The only NCI-designated cancer center in Western Pennsylvania, Hillman is composed of collaborative academic and research efforts between the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), and Carnegie Mellon University. Hillman provides clinical cancer care to some 74,000 patients treated at its facilities at both the Hillman Cancer Center location in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh and at UPMC-affiliated sites throughout Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, and overseas locations. Founded in 1984, Hillman became the youngest cancer center in history to achieve NCI-designation. As of 2007, Hillman had received nearly $200 million in funding from the National Cancer Institute, which ranks it as one of the top ten cancer research institutes.

Roslyn Place is a small wooden-paved cul-de-sac located in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The street was built in 1914 in the Nicolson Pavement style and is home to the historic Roslyn Place district.
