Rogers Middle School for the Creative and Performing Arts

Congregation B'nai Israel is a former synagogue located at 327 North Negley Avenue in the Garfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1923 and was added to the List of Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation Historic Landmarks in 1979.The synagogue closed in 1995 and the building was later used by the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh Charter School. In 2021, ground was broken on a new project which will convert the building into apartments.

The James Scott House (also known as Altholl) at 5635 Stanton Avenue in the Highland Park neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was built in 1900 in the Colonial Revival style. A carriage house was added two years later. James Scott was an executive for U.S. Steel and an immigrant from Scotland. The house was the starting point of an elopement covered by the national press. Scott's daughter Helen eloped on October 10, 1906, with Frederick Fairbanks, son of Vice President Charles W. Fairbanks. The couple were married on October 11 in Steubenville, Ohio and their story made the front page of the New York Times the next day.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 30, 1997.

The Highland Park Residential Historic District is a historic district in the Highland Park neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. Almost 2,000 buildings are in the district, most of them residences. Many of the houses in this district were built from the 1860s into the 1930s, and are constructed in several Victorian and early 20th century styles.The district is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Barack Obama Academy of International Studies, also known as Pittsburgh Obama 6-12, is a public school in the East Liberty neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The school is named in honor of Former President Barack Obama who served as 44th President of the United States. Pittsburgh Obama is an International Baccalaureate school which was created when the Pittsburgh Public Schools combined Frick Middle School and Schenley High School. As of the 2017-2018 school year, Pittsburgh Obama is located in the former Peabody High School building. Before that, it was housed in the former Reizenstein Middle School building for three years.The school is noted for its heavy involvement in the Pennsylvania YMCA Youth and Government program.

Peabody High School was a public school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the neighborhood of East Liberty. The school opened in 1911 after the renovations of the former Margaretta Street elementary school and was rededicated in honor of Highland Park Doctor Benjamin H. Peabody. After 100 years in operation, the school board of the Pittsburgh Public Schools voted to close the school and graduate its final class in 2011.The Barack Obama Academy of International Studies 6-12 relocated to the building starting in the 2012–2013 school year. The Peabody name was no longer used.

The Alpha Terrace Historic District is a historic district in the East Liberty neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. The site consists of twenty-five stone rowhouses, which were built between 1889 and 1894 using a heterogeneous mix of Queen Anne and Romanesque revival architectural influences. Until they were subdivided and individually sold in the 1950s, the properties were part of a single block of upper-middle-class rental units; for a time, U.S. Steel leased a number of the homes for use by corporate executives. [1] The block was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 18, 1985. In 1979, it was added to the List of Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation Historic Landmarks, and in January 1996, the district was added to the List of City of Pittsburgh historic designations.

The Children's Home of Pittsburgh, established in 1893, is an independent non-profit organization in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The organization's mission is "to promote the health and well-being of infants and children through services which establish and strengthen the family," including adoption, day care and pediatric health care. In March 2007, the Children's Home moved to Penn Avenue in the Friendship neighborhood of Pittsburgh. It added "Lemieux Family Center" to its name in recognition of ongoing support from the Mario Lemieux Foundation.

The Liberty School No. 4, Friendship Building is a school building built in 1899 in the Friendship neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It now houses Pittsburgh Montessori School PreK-5, a public Montessori Magnet School that is part of the Pittsburgh Public School District. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Quantum Theatre is a professional theatre company that produces experimental productions in non-traditional performance spaces around the Pittsburgh area. Founded in 1990 by Karla Boos, current Artistic Director, the company aims to incorporate influences from world culture and the international theatre scene. Additional staff members include Stewart Urist, Managing Director, and Teresa Trich, Director of Operations.The theatre has been mentioned in American Theatre Magazine and Stage Directions Magazine. It has staged classical plays, adaptations of literature, world premieres and contemporary plays in places such as Washington's Landing, Iron City Brewery, the former Don Allen Auto City, a Downtown loft in the Cultural District, abandoned school houses and the Frick Art & Historical Center.

Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (PTS) is a Presbyterian graduate seminary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1794, it houses one of the largest theological libraries in the tri-state area.

Whitehill-Gleason Motors at 5815 Baum Boulevard in the East Liberty neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was built in the 1920s on the site of the first drive-in filling station (1913).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 22, 1999, and was granted a Pennsylvania Historical Marker on July 11, 2000.

East Liberty Presbyterian Church, sometimes referred to as the Cathedral of Hope, is in the East Liberty neighborhood of the East End of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. The current building is the fifth church building to occupy the site; the first was in 1819.
