Kiyose (清瀬市, Kiyose-shi) is a city located in Tokyo Metropolis, Japan. As of 1 April 2021, the city had an estimated population of 74,972 in 36,376 households, and a population density of 7300 persons per km2. The total area of the city was 10.23 square kilometres (3.95 sq mi).

Christian Academy in Japan (クリスチャン・アカデミー・イン・ジャパン) (CAJ), established in 1950, is a private Christian school in the city of Higashikurume, Tokyo, Japan that provides a Christian American-style education in English. As of 2010, CAJ had over 465 students, from kindergarten through high school. About 48% of the students are children of Christian missionaries who work for some 40 different mission organizations. The students come from more than 25 countries, with 41% from the United States, 32% from Japan, and 12% from Korea. Most students commute to school by public transportation, bicycle or walking. The four-acre (16,000 m²) campus in the western suburbs of Tokyo also includes a classroom building, auditorium, library, gymnasium, computer lab, home economics and industrial arts facilities, and a dining hall.

Higashikurumeshi Chikurin Park is a bamboo grove with natural spring water. It is located in Higashikurume, Tokyo. It was created by taking advantage of the natural shape of the land, and there is a path through the bamboo grove. The park has over 2,000 bamboo trees.It was constructed in 1974 and was selected as one of the 100 New Tokyo Views in 1983.

Taki-no Castle (滝の城, Taki-no-jō, literally means "waterfall castle") is a flatland-hilltop Japanese castle ruin located in Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture. It was on a key route between the northern Kanto Plain and Hachioji. The most recent structure was built in the 15th century by Ōishi Sadahisa and existed during the 16th-century Sengoku period of Japanese history. In 1546, the Hojo of Odawara took control and in 1569 possession passed to the Takeda. Then Go-Hōjō clan expanded and improved the defences of the castle.After 1590, the castle was abandoned simultaneously with the arrival of Tokugawa Ieyasu into the region, having outlived its purpose. The castle is now a ruin, with clear archeological evidence of the foundations of a number buildings and a dry moat. The castle name "Taki-no-jō", which literally means "waterfall castle", is due to a waterfall that exists on the eastern part of the castle grounds. The castle grounds now form a recreational park including walking paths, a children's play area and a baseball field. The park is called Taki-no-jō Castle Site Park (滝の城址公園, Taki-no-jō-shi Kōen).

Japan College of Social Work (JCSW, 日本社会事業大学, Nihon shakai jigyō daigaku) is a private university in Kiyose, Tokyo, Japan, established in 1958. Formerly the JCSW was called Japan School of Social Work and established by the GHQ (General Headquarters), Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers and the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan in 1946. Therefore, the tuitions of the college are the same as other national universities, although being a private university. Government (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) subsidies cover the other remaining costs, except for the tuitions paid by students.The JCSW now provides the programs of 4-year bachelor, 1 to 2-year masters (research and professional degrees), and Ph.D. In the field of social welfare studies, the college has been regarded as the "Todai" (the top-ranking university in Japan, the University of Tokyo, "Todai" in Japanese).

Jumonji University (十文字学園女子大学, Juumonji gakuen joshi daigaku) is a private women's college in Niiza, Saitama, Japan, established in 1996. The predecessor of the school was founded in 1922. The current President of Jumonji University is Fumio Shimura.
