Higashi-Tokorozawa Station

Tokorozawa Sakura Town is a pop cultural attraction complex in Tokorozawa, Saitama, Japan which opened in the fall of 2020. It is a joint project of the Kadokawa Corporation and the city of Tokorozawa. The development has five main components; the Kadokawa Culture Center, the Da Vinci store, the EJ Anime hotel(closed down in 2022)Japan Pavilion, and the Musashino Reiwa Shrine. It had a partial opening on April 1, 2020, and opened fully on November 6 of the same year.

Columbia International School (コロンビアインターナショナルスクール) is an international school located in Matsugo (松郷), Tokorozawa, Saitama. The school uses the curriculum of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and is accredited by Japanese Board of Education, Ontario Ministry of Education, and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

Taki-no Castle (滝の城, Taki-no-jō, literally means "waterfall castle") is a flatland-hilltop Japanese castle ruin located in Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture. It was on a key route between the northern Kanto Plain and Hachioji. The most recent structure was built in the 15th century by Ōishi Sadahisa and existed during the 16th-century Sengoku period of Japanese history. In 1546, the Hojo of Odawara took control and in 1569 possession passed to the Takeda. Then Go-Hōjō clan expanded and improved the defences of the castle.After 1590, the castle was abandoned simultaneously with the arrival of Tokugawa Ieyasu into the region, having outlived its purpose. The castle is now a ruin, with clear archeological evidence of the foundations of a number buildings and a dry moat. The castle name "Taki-no-jō", which literally means "waterfall castle", is due to a waterfall that exists on the eastern part of the castle grounds. The castle grounds now form a recreational park including walking paths, a children's play area and a baseball field. The park is called Taki-no-jō Castle Site Park (滝の城址公園, Taki-no-jō-shi Kōen).

The Tokorozawa Shooting Range is a firing range located in Tokorozawa, Saitama, Japan. It hosted the trap shooting part of the shooting events for the 1964 Summer Olympics in neighboring Tokyo.

Tokyo District Meteorological Observatory (東京管区気象台, Tōkyō Kanku Kishōdai), abbreviated as TDMO, is one of the five District Meteorological Observatories of the Japan Meteorological Agency. It has jurisdiction over the Kantō and Chūbu regions: Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma, Yamanashi, Nagano, Niigata, Shizuoka, Aichi, Gifu, Mie, Ishikawa, Toyama and Fukui, and is responsible for acquiring meteorological, hydrological, seismological and volcanological data and forecasting local weather conditions in those areas through its local meteorological observatories. It also fills the role of Region Central Forecast Office (地方予報中枢官署, Chihō Yohō Chūsū Kansho) for the Kantō region. The TDMO is based inside the JMA Meteorological Satellite Center located in Kiyose, Tokyo.

Japan College of Social Work (JCSW, 日本社会事業大学, Nihon shakai jigyō daigaku) is a private university in Kiyose, Tokyo, Japan, established in 1958. Formerly the JCSW was called Japan School of Social Work and established by the GHQ (General Headquarters), Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers and the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan in 1946. Therefore, the tuitions of the college are the same as other national universities, although being a private university. Government (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) subsidies cover the other remaining costs, except for the tuitions paid by students.The JCSW now provides the programs of 4-year bachelor, 1 to 2-year masters (research and professional degrees), and Ph.D. In the field of social welfare studies, the college has been regarded as the "Todai" (the top-ranking university in Japan, the University of Tokyo, "Todai" in Japanese).

The National Hansen's Disease Museum (国立ハンセン病資料館, Kokuritsu Hansen-byō Shiryōkan) is a museum in Higashimurayama, Tokyo, Japan that is dedicated to education about Hansen's disease (leprosy) and to eliminating discriminatory practices against its sufferers. It was formerly (1993–2007) named "His Imperial Highness Prince Takamatsu Memorial Museum of Hansen's Disease". The museum is located next to one of Japan's remaining leprosy sanatoriums, and its purposes are: To promote awareness of leprosy To represent and preserve the history of leprosy in Japan To show what persons affected by leprosy have achieved To help restore the dignity of persons affected by leprosy To demonstrate the importance of human rights and the linked need to end prejudice and discrimination
