Oud Beersel is a Belgian lambic brewery. It is a member of HORAL, whose main event is Toer De Geuze every two years.

Beersel (Dutch: [ˈbeːrsəl] (listen)) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality comprises the towns of Alsemberg, Beersel proper, Dworp, Huizingen and Lot. On 1 January 2018 Beersel had a total population of 25,069. The total area is 30.01 km² which gives a population density of 835 inhabitants per km². It is close to Brussels; Beersel is approximately 12 km southwest of the center of the city. Beersel is perhaps best known for the "Kasteel van Beersel" (Beersel Castle), built between 1300 and 1310 by Jan II, the Duke of Brabant, as a defense for Brussels. Guillaume Dufay (1397–1474), a notable 15th century Franco-Flemish composer, was likely born in Beersel. Beersel is known for its boterham met plattekaas en radijzen (sandwich with white cheese and radishes), usually served with a geuze beer, and for its mandjeskaas (literally 'basket cheese'), which is a white cheese stored in little baskets. Beersel also has two traditional, authentic geuze breweries, Oud Beersel and 3 Fonteinen.

Drogenbos (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈdroːɣə(n)bɔs] (listen); French pronunciation: ​[dʁoɡənbɔs]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality only comprises the town of Drogenbos proper. On January 1, 2018, Drogenbos had a total population of 5,599. The total area is 2.49 km² (0.96 sq mi) which gives a population density of 2,248 inhabitants per km² (5,701/sq mi). The official language of Drogenbos is Dutch, as everywhere in Flanders. Local French-speakers (77% of the population) enjoy linguistic facilities.

Dworp (Dutch pronunciation: [dʋɔrp]; French: Tourneppe [tuʁnɛp]) is a small town in the municipality of Beersel, south of Brussels in Flanders. Dworp has an area of 9.61 square kilometers. As of January 1, 2002, it has a population of 5,277 inhabitants.

Linkebeek (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈlɪŋkəbeːk] (listen); French pronunciation: ​[linkəbeːk]) is a Belgian municipality in Flanders, part of the province of Flemish Brabant, and in the administrative district of Halle-Vilvoorde. The municipality only comprises the town of Linkebeek proper. As of 1 January 2006, Linkebeek has a total population of 4,759. The total area is 4.15 km² which gives a population density of 1,147 inhabitants per km².

Ruisbroek is a village in the municipality of Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. Previously a separate municipality, it became a deelgemeente of Sint-Pieters-Leeuw in 1977. Due to its proximity to the Brussels Capital Region, the Brussels-Charleroi Canal, the Zenne river, the railway Brussels—Mons—Quévy and the Brussels outer ring (R0), the ward is heavily urbanised. Ruisbroek has a railway station along the line Leuven—Braine-le-Comte. It is only 6 minutes to the Brussels south station. It is home to a large community of French-speakers. Ruisbroek has become popular with young families who wish to stay close to Brussels, but due to the house pricing have opted to move a little further from the city. The path along the canal offers a peaceful place for walking or cycling.

Moensberg railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Uccle in Brussels, Belgium. It is operated by SNCB/NMBS. The station is on the line 26, which connects Halle to Schaerbeek, between the stations of Saint-Job and Beersel.

Alsemberg is a rural town with about 5,300 inhabitants in the municipality of Beersel, in the province of Flemish Brabant, Belgium, situated south of Brussels. The official language is Dutch (as everywhere in Flanders). Located close to Brussels, to Wallonia and the municipality with linguistic facilities of Sint-Genesius-Rode, Alsemberg is home to a minority of French-speakers.

Lot is a village in the municipality of Beersel, Belgium. A formerly autonomous village, it was merged with the villages of Beersel, Alsemberg, Dworp, and Huizingen to create the Beersel municipality. On the northwestern edge of Beersel, it is bordered by the Brussels–Charleroi Canal.Notable residents include Renaat Van Elslande, the former mayor of Lot from 1947 to 1976. He went on to become the first Flemish foreign minister in Belgium's history.

Nemo 33 is an indoor non-chlorinated fresh water facility in Brussels, Belgium. It held the record as the deepest indoor swimming pool in the world between its opening on 1 May 2004, and the completion of Y-40 in Montegrotto Terme, Padua, Italy on 5 June 2014.The pool's maximum depth is 34.5 metres (113 ft). It contains 2,500,000 litres (550,000 imp gal; 660,000 US gal) of non-chlorinated, highly filtered spring water, maintained at 30 °C (86 °F) by a solar heater, and holds several simulated underwater caves at the 10 metres (33 ft) depth level. Due to the warm temperature in the pool, divers can dive for extended periods without a dry suit. The complex was designed by Belgian diving expert John Beernaerts as a multipurpose diving instruction, recreational, and film production facility in 2004. Popular Mechanics rates Nemo 33 as one of the top 18 strangest pools in the world.

Uccle-Calevoet railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Uccle in Brussels, Belgium. The station is operated by the National Railway Company of Belgium and located on line 124 between the stations of Uccle-Stalle and Linkebeek. It is named after the neighbourhood of Calevoet in Uccle. Trains calling at Uccle-Calevoet are local trains running from Nivelles to Brussels-North, Nivelles to Antwerp-Central. The station is connected to the Brussels tram route 51 as well as the Brussels bus routes 43 and 60.
