The Chaussée d'Alsemberg (French, pronounced [ʃo.se d‿al.sɛm.bɛʁɡ]) or Alsembergsesteenweg (Dutch, pronounced [ˈɑl.səm.bɛr(ə)x.səˌsteːn.ʋɛx]) is a major north–south road in Belgium, forming part of the N235. It runs from the Barrière de Saint-Gilles/Bareel van Sint-Gillis in the Brussels municipality of Saint-Gilles to the town of Braine-l'Alleud (Wallonia), covering almost 5.5 kilometres (3.4 mi) within the Brussels-Capital Region. Along its route, it passes through the municipalities of Forest, Uccle, Drogenbos, Linkebeek, Beersel and Alsemberg. Until nos. 139 and 156, the road lies on the territory of Saint-Gilles. Within Forest, where only a short section of the road is located, it borders the Altitude Cent/Hoogte Honderd area to the west and Berkendael/Berkendaal to the east. After this, the street enters Uccle, crosses the N261 at Globe, then continues southwards until Calevoet/Kalevoet. Beyond the Brussels Region, it continues towards the south-east through Linkebeek and Beersel before reaching Alsemberg, where it changes its name to become the Eigenbrakelsesteenweg until the regional border. In Braine-l'Alleud, it becomes the Chaussée d'Alsemberg again. The Chaussée d'Alsemberg has long been an important transport and commercial axis. Since the 19th century, it has been lined with residential buildings, shops and workshops, while public transport, including trams, has reinforced its role as a link between central Brussels and the southern periphery.

Stalle is a district of Brussels, Belgium, located within the municipality of Uccle. The area lies between the valleys of the Geleytsbeek and the Ukkelbeek and takes its name from the former lordship of Stalle. Its inhabitants were traditionally nicknamed the Zoêvelbooren (“sand farmers”), a reference to the district's agricultural past. Bloemenwerf is the name of the residence house of Belgian painter, architect and interior designer Henry van de Velde, built in 1895. It is located in Uccle, Brussels, Belgium. Velde designed the house and its interior as well as the furnishings. It was inspired in part by William Morris' Red House.Van de Velde gave everything in the house, from the door furnishings to the wallpaper, the same patterns of embellishments and flowing linear shapes.

Uccle-Stalle railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Uccle in Brussels, Belgium. The station is operated by the National Railway Company of Belgium and located on line 124 between the stations of Forest-East and Uccle-Calevoet. The station is named after the neighbourhood Stalle in Uccle. Trains calling at this station are local trains running from Nivelles to Brussels-North, Nivelles to Antwerp-Central.

Moensberg railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Uccle in Brussels, Belgium. It is operated by SNCB/NMBS. The station is on the line 26, which connects Halle to Schaerbeek, between the stations of Saint-Job and Beersel.

Nemo 33 is an indoor non-chlorinated fresh water facility in Brussels, Belgium. It held the record as the deepest indoor swimming pool in the world between its opening on 1 May 2004, and the completion of Y-40 in Montegrotto Terme, Padua, Italy on 5 June 2014.The pool's maximum depth is 34.5 metres (113 ft). It contains 2,500,000 litres (550,000 imp gal; 660,000 US gal) of non-chlorinated, highly filtered spring water, maintained at 30 °C (86 °F) by a solar heater, and holds several simulated underwater caves at the 10 metres (33 ft) depth level. Due to the warm temperature in the pool, divers can dive for extended periods without a dry suit. The complex was designed by Belgian diving expert John Beernaerts as a multipurpose diving instruction, recreational, and film production facility in 2004. Popular Mechanics rates Nemo 33 as one of the top 18 strangest pools in the world.

Drogenbos (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈdroːɣə(n)bɔs] (listen); French pronunciation: ​[dʁoɡənbɔs]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality only comprises the town of Drogenbos proper. On January 1, 2018, Drogenbos had a total population of 5,599. The total area is 2.49 km² (0.96 sq mi) which gives a population density of 2,248 inhabitants per km² (5,701/sq mi). The official language of Drogenbos is Dutch, as everywhere in Flanders. Local French-speakers (77% of the population) enjoy linguistic facilities.

Forest National (also known as Vorst Nationaal in Dutch) is a multi-purpose arena located in the municipality of Forest near Brussels, Belgium. The arena can hold more than 8,000 people. It hosts indoor sporting events as well as concerts done by a wide variety of artists. The arena, which opened in 1970, offers between 2,500 and 8,000 seats, depending on the event and is a member of European Arenas Association (EAA). Known for its circular interior, it is owned by the Music Hall Group and operated by the Sportpaleis Groep.

Forest-East railway station (Dutch: Station Voorst-Oost) is a railway station in the municipality of Forest in Brussels, Belgium. The station, operated by SNCB/NMBS is located on the Belgian railway line 124, between the stations of Brussels-South and Uccle-Stalle.

Located in the southern part of the region, it is bordered by Anderlecht, Ixelles, Uccle, and Saint-Gilles, as well as the Flemish municipality of Drogenbos. In common with all of Brussels' municipalities, it is legally bilingual (French–Dutch). The municipality is commonly known for its concert hall; Forest National/Vorst Nationaal. It also houses an important jail, an Audi factory and a railway depot that is home to the Belgian fleet of Eurostar train sets.
