Nemo 33 is an indoor non-chlorinated fresh water facility in Brussels, Belgium. It held the record as the deepest indoor swimming pool in the world between its opening on 1 May 2004, and the completion of Y-40 in Montegrotto Terme, Padua, Italy on 5 June 2014.The pool's maximum depth is 34.5 metres (113 ft). It contains 2,500,000 litres (550,000 imp gal; 660,000 US gal) of non-chlorinated, highly filtered spring water, maintained at 30 °C (86 °F) by a solar heater, and holds several simulated underwater caves at the 10 metres (33 ft) depth level. Due to the warm temperature in the pool, divers can dive for extended periods without a dry suit. The complex was designed by Belgian diving expert John Beernaerts as a multipurpose diving instruction, recreational, and film production facility in 2004. Popular Mechanics rates Nemo 33 as one of the top 18 strangest pools in the world.

Drogenbos (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈdroːɣə(n)bɔs] (listen); French pronunciation: ​[dʁoɡənbɔs]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality only comprises the town of Drogenbos proper. On January 1, 2018, Drogenbos had a total population of 5,599. The total area is 2.49 km² (0.96 sq mi) which gives a population density of 2,248 inhabitants per km² (5,701/sq mi). The official language of Drogenbos is Dutch, as everywhere in Flanders. Local French-speakers (77% of the population) enjoy linguistic facilities.

Forest-South railway station (French: Gare de Forest-Midi, Dutch: Station Voorst-Zuid) is a railway station in the municipality of Forest in Brussels, Belgium. The station is located on the Belgian railway line 96 between the Brussels-South and Ruisbroek railway stations. It was opened in 1862

The École supérieure des Arts du Cirque (ESAC) is a professional circus school located in Brussels, Belgium. The Ecole Supérieure des Arts du Cirque de Bruxelles is one of very few colleges in the world to provide circus training leading to a diploma, along with the Centre National des Arts du Cirque de Châlons-en-Champagne in France, the Ecole Nationale de Cirque in Montreal, Canada, and the National Centre for Circus Arts in London, UK. In September 2003, the college was officially recognized by the French Community of Belgium and became the 17th institute of Higher Education in the Arts. ESAC offers a three-year course of study, at the end of which the student obtains a bachelor's degree in the performing arts and broadcasting and communication techniques, with a major in circus arts. The circus disciplines taught at ESAC include specialised circus skills, dynamic and static acrobatics, trampoline, specific physical preparation, dance and theatre. The curriculum also includes courses in stage management for circus, circus engineering, law, arts production, science and applied science in the circus arts (anatomy, biomechanics and dietetics). The school's mission is to train artists who will be able to integrate their research and creation into the evolution of the contemporary circus, creating new forms and new approaches to collective creation.

Beersel (Dutch: [ˈbeːrsəl] (listen)) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality comprises the towns of Alsemberg, Beersel proper, Dworp, Huizingen and Lot. On 1 January 2018 Beersel had a total population of 25,069. The total area is 30.01 km² which gives a population density of 835 inhabitants per km². It is close to Brussels; Beersel is approximately 12 km southwest of the center of the city. Beersel is perhaps best known for the "Kasteel van Beersel" (Beersel Castle), built between 1300 and 1310 by Jan II, the Duke of Brabant, as a defense for Brussels. Guillaume Dufay (1397–1474), a notable 15th century Franco-Flemish composer, was likely born in Beersel. Beersel is known for its boterham met plattekaas en radijzen (sandwich with white cheese and radishes), usually served with a geuze beer, and for its mandjeskaas (literally 'basket cheese'), which is a white cheese stored in little baskets. Beersel also has two traditional, authentic geuze breweries, Oud Beersel and 3 Fonteinen.

Audi Brussels (before 2008 known as Volkswagen Vorst or Volkswagen Forest) is an Audi manufacturing plant located in Forest, Belgium, a municipality located in the south-western part of the Brussels-Capital Region.

On 15 and 18 March 2016, Belgian police carried out raids on houses in Brussels. The raids were conducted in connection to the attacks in Paris four months earlier. In the raids, one suspect was killed and five others were arrested, including Salah Abdeslam, who is suspected of direct involvement in the Paris attacks.

CERIA (French) or COOVI (Dutch) is a Brussels metro station on the western branch of line 5. It is located in the municipality of Anderlecht, in the western part of Brussels (Belgium). It serves the Food and Chemical Industries Education and Research Center (CERIA/COOVI), after which it is named. The station opened on 15 September 2003 as part of the Bizet–Erasme/Erasmus extension of former line 1B including the stations Erasme/Erasmus, Eddy Merckx and La Roue/Het Rad. Following the reorganisation of the Brussels metro on 4 April 2009, it is served by line 5.

Forest Abbey (French: Abbaye de Forest) was a Benedictine Abbey founded in 1105, beside a creek, a tributary of the Zenne, southwest of the city of Brussels, Belgium in the municipality of Forest.

Uccle-Stalle railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Uccle in Brussels, Belgium. The station is operated by the National Railway Company of Belgium and located on line 124 between the stations of Forest-East and Uccle-Calevoet. The station is named after the neighbourhood Stalle in Uccle. Trains calling at this station are local trains running from Nivelles to Brussels-North, Nivelles to Antwerp-Central.

The Municipal Hall (French: Hôtel communal, Dutch: Gemeentehuis) of Forest is the municipal hall building and the seat of that municipality of Brussels, Belgium. Built between 1935 and 1938, and qualified as a prototype of Brussels' Art Deco, this building illustrates the leading role the style played in public architecture during the interwar period.

Forest-East railway station (Dutch: Station Voorst-Oost) is a railway station in the municipality of Forest in Brussels, Belgium. The station, operated by SNCB/NMBS is located on the Belgian railway line 124, between the stations of Brussels-South and Uccle-Stalle.
