Wyględów [vɨglɛnduf] is a neighbourhood in the north-western part of the district of Mokotów in Warsaw, Poland. The name of the area comes from the village of Wyględów-Kościesze, which was founded in the 15th century and was placed near what is now the Bełska street. The intensive development of this area began with the construction of a fort by the Russian authorities in the second half of the 19th century. Fort Mokotów belonged to the inner ring of the forts of Warsaw. A new stage in the development of the Fort Mokotowski area, as well as other Warsaw suburbs, came in the years 1916-1917 with new proposals on joining suburban districts to the city and establishing its new borders.

The Massacre in the Jesuit monastery on Rakowiecka Street in Warsaw was a Nazi German war crime perpetrated by members of the Waffen-SS on the second day of the Warsaw Uprising, during the Second World War. On 2 August 1944 about 40 Poles were murdered and their bodies burnt in the basement of the Jesuit monastery at 61 Rakowiecka Street in Warsaw. Among the victims were 16 priests and religious brothers of the Society of Jesus.

The Faculty of Management at the Warsaw University of Technology (pl.: Wydział Zarządzania Politechniki Warszawskiej , WZ) is a business school in Warsaw. Its facilities are located on the southern side of the Warsaw University of Technology campus on ul. Narbutta 85.

The Medical University of Warsaw (Polish name: Warszawski Uniwersytet Medyczny, Latin name: Universitas Medica Varsoviensis) is one of the oldest and the largest medical school in Poland. The first academic department of medicine was created in 1809. It is one of the most prestigious schools of medical science affiliated with a number of large hospitals in Poland. The academic staff of the Medical University of Warsaw are recognized nationally and internationally for their contributions to the research and practice in medicine. Many of them hold the prestigious posts of National Medical Consultants. The Medical University of Warsaw provides general and specialty training at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Students learn at five clinical teaching hospitals who provide general and tertiary medical care to patients. Students and staff also conduct scientific and clinical research at these hospitals as well as are involved in a number of clinical academic departments located in other hospitals in Warsaw. MUW offers 19 degree programs including 3 full-time degree programs in English: Dentistry, Medicine, Pharmacy.

Cumann Warsaw (Cumann Warszawa) is a GAA club in Warsaw, Poland. The club has joint hurling and Gaelic football sessions once a week at Pole Mokotowskie, with winter training taking place indoors at the nearby Stadion Skra.

The Happy Dog Monument (Polish: Pomnik Szczęśliwego Psa) is a statue of a Golden Retriever dog in Warsaw, Poland, placed in the Mokotów Field park complex, within the district of Ochota. It was designed by Bogna Czechowska, and unveiled on 2 October 2004.

Mokotów Field (Polish: Pole Mokotowskie) is a large park in Warsaw, Poland. A part of the parkland is called Józef Piłsudski Park. Located between Warsaw's Mokotów district and the city center, the park is one of the largest in Warsaw. Contrary to its name, only a small part of the modern Mokotów Field is located in the Mokotów district. Most of the field (48.61 ha, almost 71%) is located in Ochota and the City Center.Located within the park is the Polish National Library. The park is also famous for its bars. Just to the south is a Warsaw Metro station, the Pole Mokotowskie station. From 1818 till World War II, on what was originally a 200ha area, a major part was occupied by an airfield and the Warsaw Polytechnic aircraft works. The Mokotów Field was also, until 1934, the site of Warsaw Airport and, in the years 1884-1939, of the Warsaw Horse Racing Track.On May 17, 1935, the funeral of Józef Piłsudski took place on the Mokotów Fields. The current park was designed by Stanisław Bolek and created in the 1970s and 1980s.In 2010, a two-kilometer educational trail was opened named after Ryszard Kapuściński. In 2018, near the intersection of al. Niepodległości and ul. Wawelska Street, 45 apple trees were planted to commemorate prominent Polish women.

Warszawa Żwirki i Wigury railway station is a railway station in the Ochota district of Warsaw, Poland. It is served by Koleje Mazowieckie, who run services from Warszawa Wschodnia to Góra Kalwaria or Skarżysko-Kamienna.

Stadion RKS Skra (RKS Skra Stadium) is a historic football and athletics stadium in Mokotów Field, Warsaw, Poland. It is currently used mostly for rugby union matches as the home stadium of Skra Warsaw. The stadium has a capacity of 35,000 people, but has been closed since October 2019.

Rakowiec is a neighbourhood in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. Part of the borough of Ochota, it originally was a separate village, established in the Middle Ages. Nationalised by the Russian authorities in the late 19th century, the village was occupied by one of the forts of the Warsaw Fortress. After Poland regained her independence, in 1930 the area was incorporated into Warsaw, and residential areas were soon built there.

Free Polish University (Polish: Wolna Wszechnica Polska), founded in 1918 in Warsaw, was a private high school with different departments: mathematics and natural sciences, humanities, political sciences and social pedagogy. From 1929, its degrees were equivalent to those of university. In the years 1919–1939 the institution employed 70–80 professors. In the academic year 1938/39 educated about 3000 students. The university conducted clandestine courses during the German occupation, but after the war, its activities were not resumed.The university was disbanded in 1952.

Metro Pole Mokotowskie is a station on Line M1 of the Warsaw Metro, located in the Mokotów district of Warsaw. It is named after the Pole Mokotowskie park nearby. It is located very close to the Warsaw School of Economics. The station was opened on 7 April 1995 as part of the inaugural stretch of the Warsaw Metro, between Kabaty and Politechnika.
