Fiesta Rancho is a hotel and casino located on 25.46 acres (10.30 ha) of land at 2400 North Rancho Drive in North Las Vegas, Nevada, across the street from the Texas Station hotel and casino. The Maloof family opened the Fiesta on December 14, 1994, with 100 rooms and a 25,000 sq ft (2,300 m2) casino. The resort was popular among local residents, prompting a 50,000 sq ft (4,600 m2) expansion that began in 1995. The expansion included a drive-through sportsbook, a remodeled buffet, and a larger casino. A $26 million, 50,000 sq ft (4,600 m2) expansion took place in 1999, adding a food court, a parking garage, and additional casino space. At the time, a majority of the Fiesta's slot machines played video poker, and the casino had been proclaimed as "the Royal Flush Capital of the World," having paid out over 118,500 royal flushes won through its video poker machines. Station Casinos purchased the Fiesta in 2001 and renamed it as Fiesta Rancho to differentiate it from its new sister property, Fiesta Henderson.

Texas Station is a hotel and casino located in North Las Vegas, Nevada. It is owned and operated by Station Casinos. Texas native Frank Fertitta Jr., the hotel-casino's original owner, chose the Texas theme to appeal to customers from his home state. Fertitta sold the hotel-casino for $95 million to Station Casinos, his former company, prior to its opening on July 12, 1995. It was the largest hotel-casino in North Las Vegas at the time of its opening, with a 60,000 sq ft (5,600 m2) casino and a 200-room hotel. Texas Station has been expanded several times, including a $55 million expansion that began in 1998. The expansion added a food court, a child-care facility, and a parking garage, as well as additional movie theater screens and casino space. A $65 million expansion took place during 2000, and included the addition of a convention hall, a bowling alley, new restaurants, and two wedding chapels.

Nevada Career Institute is a for-profit technical college in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nevada Career Institute is owned and operated by the Fuerst family of Success Education Colleges.

The Southern Nevada Zoological-Botanical Park, informally known as the Las Vegas Zoo, was a 3-acre (1.2 ha), nonprofit zoo and botanical garden located in Las Vegas, Nevada that operated from 1981 to September 20, 2013. It was located northwest of the Las Vegas Strip, about 15 minutes away. It focused primarily on the education of desert life and habitat protection. Its mission statement was to "educate and entertain the public by displaying a variety of plants and animals". An admission fee was charged. The park included a small gem exhibit area and a small gift shop at the main exit. The gift shop and admission fees helped support the zoo.

The Eureka is a privately owned steam locomotive in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is one of three preserved Baldwin class 8/18 C 4-4-0 locomotives in the United States, of which it is the only operable example. It is listed on the United States National Register of Historic Places.

KRLV (920 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, serving the Las Vegas area. Owned by Lotus Communications, KRLV airs a sports radio format focused on the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League. The station's studios and offices are located in the unincorporated community of Spring Valley in Clark County. A secondary studio is located at the Raiders headquarters and practice facility in Henderson. The transmitter is located off Wild Jan Drive, northwest of downtown Las Vegas.

Cheyenne High School is a high school in North Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The school was built in 1991, with an adjacent four portable classrooms, in North Las Vegas, a rapidly growing suburban middle class community. As of the 2006–2007 school year, the school's ethnic ratio was 29.7% White, 33.3% African American, 29.8% Hispanic, 6.4% Asian/Pacific Islander and 0.7% Native American. The male/female population was 53.2%/46.8%, and 14% of the students were IEP (students with disabilities). At that time, Cheyenne had a 59.2% graduation rate.

Bigelow Aerospace is an American aeronautics and outer space technology company which manufactures and develops expandable space station modules. Bigelow Aerospace was founded by Robert Bigelow in 1998, and is based in North Las Vegas, Nevada. It is funded in large part by the profit Bigelow gained through his ownership of the hotel chain, Budget Suites of America.By 2013, Bigelow had invested US$250 million in the company. Bigelow stated on a number of occasions that he was prepared to fund Bigelow Aerospace with about US$500 million through 2015 in order to achieve launch of full-scale hardware.Bigelow Aerospace announced in 2010 that they intended to create a modular set of space habitats for creating or expanding space stations but despite many concepts and models, never completed a working space station beyond two small prototypes that flew in 2006 and 2007. In March 2020, the company laid off all 88 of its employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and planned to rehire staff when conditions permitted.

Advanced Technologies Academy (A-TECH) is a magnet public high school in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. It focuses on integrating technology with academics for students in grades 9-12. The magnet school program was founded in 1994 and is part of the Clark County School District. The first year included only 9th and 10th grade, adding a grade each year. The first graduating class was 1997, and the first graduating class with all four years of attendance was 1998. The magnet school focuses on computer and technology related study fields. As of 2021, A-TECH is ranked #1 in the state of Nevada and #152 nationally by U.S. News & World Report.

KSHP (1400 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a sports and shopping format. Licensed to North Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, it serves the Las Vegas area. The station is currently owned by Las Vegas Broadcasting LLC and features programming from Sports Byline USA. KSHP is an affiliate for sports in 2011 for the BYU Cougars Sports Network and the America's Team Radio Networks Dallas Cowboys. For the 2013 season, KSHP became the official home of the Los Angeles Dodgers. KSHP AM 1400 is the home of the only daily horse racing handicapping show in Las Vegas, Race Day Las Vegas, hosted by Ralph Siraco. KSHP features 'SportsBook Radio' and 'Vegas Hockey Hockey' Hotline, hosted by Dana Lane, daily from 10am PT-12pm PT, Monday through Friday. This show is a continuation from the original show, hosted by Brian Blessing for almost a decade. The KSHP studio was renamed the Brian Blessing studio after his passing in 2022. KSHP was originally on 1410 kHz and moved to 1400 kHz in 1996.

Programming includes the UNLV Rebels football and men's basketball teams, the Las Vegas Aces, ESPN Radio talk shows and play-by-play, and various local talk shows. Its studios are located in the unincorporated community of Spring Valley in Clark County and its transmitter is located in North Las Vegas.
