KSHP (1400 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a sports and shopping format. Licensed to North Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, it serves the Las Vegas area. The station is currently owned by Las Vegas Broadcasting LLC and features programming from Sports Byline USA. KSHP is an affiliate for sports in 2011 for the BYU Cougars Sports Network and the America's Team Radio Networks Dallas Cowboys. For the 2013 season, KSHP became the official home of the Los Angeles Dodgers. KSHP AM 1400 is the home of the only daily horse racing handicapping show in Las Vegas, Race Day Las Vegas, hosted by Ralph Siraco. KSHP features 'SportsBook Radio' and 'Vegas Hockey Hockey' Hotline, hosted by Dana Lane, daily from 10am PT-12pm PT, Monday through Friday. This show is a continuation from the original show, hosted by Brian Blessing for almost a decade. The KSHP studio was renamed the Brian Blessing studio after his passing in 2022. KSHP was originally on 1410 kHz and moved to 1400 kHz in 1996.

Cheyenne High School is a high school in North Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The school was built in 1991, with an adjacent four portable classrooms, in North Las Vegas, a rapidly growing suburban middle class community. As of the 2006–2007 school year, the school's ethnic ratio was 29.7% White, 33.3% African American, 29.8% Hispanic, 6.4% Asian/Pacific Islander and 0.7% Native American. The male/female population was 53.2%/46.8%, and 14% of the students were IEP (students with disabilities). At that time, Cheyenne had a 59.2% graduation rate.

The Kyle Ranch was established by Conrad Kiel in 1875 in what is now North Las Vegas, Nevada. The ranch's name is spelled alternately as "Kiel" and "Kyle" because Conrad Kiel spelled his name and ranch both ways. The site is currently managed by the City of North Las Vegas Parks and Recreation Division as the "Kiel Ranch Historic Park." As of July 2016, the park is open to the public. The original adobe structure, one of the oldest extant buildings in Las Vegas, a wooden shed known as the "Doll House" and the Kyle Ranch Cemetery are all that remain after loss of buildings through fire and neglect. The cemetery is currently empty with the bodies, mostly family members of the founders, housed at UNLV. The ranch is the site of an artesian well and a small wetlands, a reminder of what drew the first settlers and travelers to the site. The spring provided water allowing the ranch to grow fruits and vegetables. The site is marked as Nevada Historical Marker 224.

North Las Vegas Airport (IATA: VGT, ICAO: KVGT, FAA LID: VGT) is three miles northwest of downtown Las Vegas, in North Las Vegas, in the U.S. state of Nevada. It is owned by the Clark County Commission and operated by the Clark County Department of Aviation. Known locally as Northtown, it is the second–busiest public use government airport in the Las Vegas area and the third-busiest in Nevada. It is the primary airport in the Las Vegas area for general aviation and scenic tours, allowing Harry Reid International Airport to focus on airline flights. North Las Vegas offered limited regional airline service by Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines in the early 2000s. Many helicopter operators including the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department use the airport. The airport is certificated under 14 CFR Part 139.

Advanced Technologies Academy (A-TECH) is a magnet public high school in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. It focuses on integrating technology with academics for students in grades 9-12. The magnet school program was founded in 1994 and is part of the Clark County School District. The first year included only 9th and 10th grade, adding a grade each year. The first graduating class was 1997, and the first graduating class with all four years of attendance was 1998. The magnet school focuses on computer and technology related study fields. As of 2021, A-TECH is ranked #1 in the state of Nevada and #152 nationally by U.S. News & World Report.
