Owned by Lotus Communications, its studios and offices are located on West Flamingo Road in the unincorporated community of Spring Valley in Clark County. The transmitter is located off North Martin Luther King Boulevard in North Las Vegas. KKGK airs a sports radio format, mostly carrying the Fox Sports Radio Network. The syndicated "Dan Patrick Show" is heard on weekday mornings. Programming is also heard on FM translator 98.9 K255CT in Henderson, Nevada.

KSHP (1400 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a sports and shopping format. Licensed to North Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, it serves the Las Vegas area. The station is currently owned by Las Vegas Broadcasting LLC and features programming from Sports Byline USA. KSHP is an affiliate for sports in 2011 for the BYU Cougars Sports Network and the America's Team Radio Networks Dallas Cowboys. For the 2013 season, KSHP became the official home of the Los Angeles Dodgers. KSHP AM 1400 is the home of the only daily horse racing handicapping show in Las Vegas, Race Day Las Vegas, hosted by Ralph Siraco. KSHP features 'SportsBook Radio' and 'Vegas Hockey Hockey' Hotline, hosted by Dana Lane, daily from 10am PT-12pm PT, Monday through Friday. This show is a continuation from the original show, hosted by Brian Blessing for almost a decade. The KSHP studio was renamed the Brian Blessing studio after his passing in 2022. KSHP was originally on 1410 kHz and moved to 1400 kHz in 1996.

Bigelow Aerospace was founded by Robert Bigelow in 1998, and is based in North Las Vegas, Nevada. It is funded in large part by the profit Bigelow gained through his ownership of the hotel chain, Budget Suites of America.By 2013, Bigelow had invested US$250 million in the company. Bigelow stated on a number of occasions that he was prepared to fund Bigelow Aerospace with about US$500 million through 2015 in order to achieve launch of full-scale hardware.Bigelow Aerospace announced in 2010 that they intended to create a modular set of space habitats for creating or expanding space stations but despite many concepts and models, never completed a working space station beyond two small prototypes that flew in 2006 and 2007. In March 2020, the company laid off all 88 of its employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and planned to rehire staff when conditions permitted.

The Kyle Ranch was established by Conrad Kiel in 1875 in what is now North Las Vegas, Nevada. The ranch's name is spelled alternately as "Kiel" and "Kyle" because Conrad Kiel spelled his name and ranch both ways. The site is currently managed by the City of North Las Vegas Parks and Recreation Division as the "Kiel Ranch Historic Park." As of July 2016, the park is open to the public. The original adobe structure, one of the oldest extant buildings in Las Vegas, a wooden shed known as the "Doll House" and the Kyle Ranch Cemetery are all that remain after loss of buildings through fire and neglect. The cemetery is currently empty with the bodies, mostly family members of the founders, housed at UNLV. The ranch is the site of an artesian well and a small wetlands, a reminder of what drew the first settlers and travelers to the site. The spring provided water allowing the ranch to grow fruits and vegetables. The site is marked as Nevada Historical Marker 224.

Berkley Square was designed in 1949 by Paul Revere Williams and is named after Thomas L. Berkley, an African American attorney from Oakland, California. The historic district contained 148 homes. It was built in the African American West Las Vegas area of Las Vegas, Nevada. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. Terry and Jerry Holmes were born at 512 Byrnes Avenue in Berkley Square on March 3, 1951, to Canary and Clarence Holmes.

Owned by Lotus Communications, KRLV airs a sports radio format focused on the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League. The station's studios and offices are located in the unincorporated community of Spring Valley in Clark County. A secondary studio is located at the Raiders headquarters and practice facility in Henderson. The transmitter is located off Wild Jan Drive, northwest of downtown Las Vegas.

Cheyenne High School is a high school in North Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The school was built in 1991, with an adjacent four portable classrooms, in North Las Vegas, a rapidly growing suburban middle class community. As of the 2006–2007 school year, the school's ethnic ratio was 29.7% White, 33.3% African American, 29.8% Hispanic, 6.4% Asian/Pacific Islander and 0.7% Native American. The male/female population was 53.2%/46.8%, and 14% of the students were IEP (students with disabilities). At that time, Cheyenne had a 59.2% graduation rate.

Advanced Technologies Academy (A-TECH) is a magnet public high school in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. It focuses on integrating technology with academics for students in grades 9-12. The magnet school program was founded in 1994 and is part of the Clark County School District. The first year included only 9th and 10th grade, adding a grade each year. The first graduating class was 1997, and the first graduating class with all four years of attendance was 1998. The magnet school focuses on computer and technology related study fields. As of 2021, A-TECH is ranked #1 in the state of Nevada and #152 nationally by U.S. News & World Report.
