Strzelniki [stʂɛlˈniki] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lewin Brzeski, within Brzeg County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-west of Lewin Brzeski, 8 km (5 mi) south-east of Brzeg, and 32 km (20 mi) north-west of the regional capital Opole. The village is home to St. Anthony of Padua Church, exhibiting Medieval polychromes on the entire interior of the church.

St. Anthony of Padua Church in Strzelniki, Poland, is a historic Renaissance fourteenth-century church. St. Anthony of Padua's Church (formerly St. Lawrence) was first mentioned in 1376. The present church was built in 1688, with the 1853 renovation restructuring its oval-cut windows. During renovations that took place in 1958, Medieval polychromes were discovered, that were later uncovered and exhibited between 1966 and 1979. The polychromes cover the entire interior of the church.

Kruszyna [kruˈʂɨna] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Skarbimierz, within Brzeg County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) east of Skarbimierz, 6 km (4 mi) south-east of Brzeg, and 33 km (21 mi) north-west of the regional capital Opole.

Brzeg railway station is a station in Brzeg, Opole Voivodeship, Poland. The station is part of the Third Pan-European Corridor, linking Dresden - Wrocław - Kraków - Kyiv.In the years 2009–2010, the railway infrastructure of the station and a 4 km stretch of the adjoining lines was redeveloped. The investment totaled 154 million Polish złoty. The modernisation was completed on 12 January 2012. Both the interior and the exterior of the station itself were thoroughly renovated, at a cost of 4.2 million Polish złoty. The reopening of the railway station was celebrated on 9 February 2012.

Since the 1970s, the church is part of the Museum of Folk Architecture in Sanok.The temple illustrates a typical Lesser Polish wooden church's architecture, and remains one of the most prized buildings of religious heritage in south-eastern Poland.The rector of the church from 1939 to 1948 was Florian Zając, a chaplain of the Home Army.

St. Nicholas' Church in Brzeg, Poland, is a Gothic basilica built in the fourteenth century. The church was built between 1370 and 1420 during the reign of Louis I of Brzeg. He built it on the site of a former brick building, mentioned in sources from 1279. The building was financed by the town's inhabitants and the prince. The town's noblemen commissioned the project to Wrocław's Master Gunther who had planned the city's churches of St. Mary Magdalene and St. Elizabeth.

The Duchy of Brzeg (Polish: Księstwo Brzeskie) or Duchy of Brieg (German: Herzogtum Brieg; Czech: Knížectví břežské) was one of the Duchies of Silesia, created in 1311 during the fragmentation of the Duchy of Wrocław. A Bohemian fief from 1329, it was ruled by the Silesian Piasts until their extinction in 1675. Its capital was Brzeg in Lower Silesia.
