Sockenplan metro station

The Stureby murder occurred on the night of June 6–7, 2009, when 15-year-old Therese Johansson Rojo (born June 17, 1993) was murdered in Stureby, located outside of Stockholm, Sweden by two schoolmates. The two 16-year-olds, Tim Edgar Vrågård, later Tim Edgar Thörnberg (born 9 April 1993) and Tove Elisabet Lind, later Isabel Tove Elisabet Lind (born 12 May 1993) who eventually admitted to murdering Johansson Rojo, were arrested the following day.The girl had managed to get the boy to carry out the murder by SMS text messages, telephone calls and chatroom contact during a period of time leading up to the murder.

Enskede gård metro station is on the Green line of the Stockholm metro, located in Enskede gård, Söderort. The station was inaugurated on 1 October 1930 as part of the stretch between Gullmarsplan and Stureby. The distance to Slussen is 3.8 km. According to plans presented in the spring of 2015, this station and the adjacent Globen station, which are both above ground, will be replaced by a single underground metro station called Slakthusområdet in the future. This change will be made when this branch of the Green line is to be transferred to be a branch of the Blue line when the latter line is extended to the south side of the city, expected to be completed sometime in 2030.

The station was inaugurated on 1 October 1930 as part of the stretch between Gullmarsplan and Stureby. The distance to Slussen is 5.2 km (3.2 mi). A southerly extension of the Blue line of the Stockholm metro is currently under construction and expected to be opened for the passengers in 2030. As part of this development, the Blue line will take over this station.

Svedmyra is a suburb in Söderort in the municipality of Stockholm, in the borough of Farsta. Svedmyra is located between Stureby and Tallkrogen, and covers about 0.92 km² of land. Svedmyra is surrounded by forests and green space. The population in 2008 was 2,812. The name "Svedmyra" comes from a cottage that was formerly on the site, named Svinmyran, "Pig Bog". The cottage is known since the 14th century, and it belonged to Östberga farm. According to legend, Svedmyra was named after all the red forest ants in the forests around Svedmyra.

The Saint Sava Serbian Orthodox Church (Swedish: Sankt Sava serbisk-ortodoxa kyrka; Serbian: Црква светог Саве, Crkva svetog Save) is a church building in Enskede gård in Stockholm, Sweden. It was taken into use in 1991 but not officially inaugurated until 5 October 2014. It is the cathedral church of the Serbian Orthodox Eparchy of Britain and Scandinavia.

Gamla Enskede (Swedish: "Old Enskede") is a district of Enskede-Årsta-Vantör borough, South Stockholm, Sweden. In addition to housing areas, the district includes the Skogskyrkogården woodland cemetery and the smaller Sandsborgskyrkogården cemetery.

Globen metro station is on the Green line of the Stockholm metro and the Tvärbanan light rail line, located by Globen in Johanneshov, Söderort. The station was opened on 1 October 1930 as Slakthuset station (named after an old abattoir around the area that has since been converted into a nightclub) as a part of the stretch between Gullmarsplan and Stureby. In 1958 the station was renamed as Isstadion station (after the nearby Johanneshovs Isstadion, now known as Hovet). The station acquired its current name on 20 August 1989 and is the only one in the system to have had more than two names. The distance to Slussen is 3 km (1.9 mi). There is a track connection to Tvärbanan just north of Globen metro station, and Tvärbanan has track connection to the railway, which is used for deliveries of new metro trains. According to plans presented in the spring of 2015, this station and the adjacent Enskede gård station, which are both above ground, will be replaced by a single underground metro station called Slakthusområdet in the future. The Annexet is one of the venues in Stockholm Globe City, located in Stockholm, Sweden. The venue opened in 1989 and has a capacity of 3,950 people.
