Stockholm Globe City

The Annexet is one of the venues in Stockholm Globe City, located in Stockholm, Sweden. The venue opened in 1989 and has a capacity of 3,950 people.

Hovet (formerly known as Johanneshovs Isstadion or, in English: Johanneshov Stadium) is an arena located in the Johanneshov district of Stockholm (Stockholm Globe City) which is mainly used for ice hockey, concerts and corporate events. It was opened in 1955 as an outdoor arena, however a roof was added in 1962, and the arena interior has also been a subject to major renovation in 2002. The arena's main tenants are ice hockey clubs AIK and Djurgårdens IF. The official capacity is 8,094 spectators for ice hockey events and 8,300 during concerts.

Avicii Arena, originally known as Stockholm Globe Arena and previously as Ericsson Globe, but commonly referred to in Swedish simply as Globen (pronounced [ˈɡlǔːbɛn] (listen); "the Globe"), is an indoor arena located in Stockholm Globe City, Johanneshov district of Stockholm, Sweden. The arena represents the Sun in the Sweden Solar System, the world's largest scale model of the Solar System.

Johanneshovs IP was a football stadium in Stockholm, Sweden and the former home stadium for the football team Hammarby IF before the construction of Söderstadion. It was founded in 1928 and was demolished in 1964 when Söderstadion was built on the existing site of the stadium

Söderstadion (translated in English as Southern Stadium) was a football and bandy stadium in Stockholm, Sweden. It was opened in 1966 and closed in 2013, being replaced by nearby Tele2 Arena. Söderstadion had a capacity of 12,800 depending on usage. A record attendance of 22,000 was set on 31 October 1982, when Hammarby IF faced IFK Göteborg.There had already existed stadiums at the site, the earliest opened in 1918 under the name Johanneshovs Idrottsplats. After the stadium was closed, the site will now be used for new apartment buildings. Bandy was played at Söderstadion wintertime until 1989 and the Swedish championship final was traditionally played there. The Bandy World Championship 1987 final was played at the arena (2nd half of the video). The last bandy match at the stadium was the Swedish final of 1989.The home team Hammarby, the 2010 and 2013 Swedish champions, now plays at Zinkensdamm. The arena has also been used for ice hockey.

Johanneshov (pronunciation) is a district in Stockholm located at the intersection of national road 73 and national road 75 in the borough of Enskede-Årsta-Vantör, southern Stockholm, Sweden. The icehockey arena Hovet is located in Johanneshov, its current formal name taken from its former popular name, and short for "Johanneshovs isstadion".Slakthusområdet, a former meat packing district, is being developed to an urban city area with small businesses and apartments. The project includes also adjacent areas Gullmarsplan and Globen under the name Vision Söderstaden 2030.Other major landmarks of the district are the Avicii Arena (formerly named Stockholm Globe Arena and Ericsson Globe) and Tele2 Arena. The football clubs Hammarby and Djurgården are based at Tele2 Arena in Johanneshov, a stadium built in 2013.

Globen metro station is on the Green line of the Stockholm metro and the Tvärbanan light rail line, located by Globen in Johanneshov, Söderort. The station was opened on 1 October 1930 as Slakthuset station (named after an old abattoir around the area that has since been converted into a nightclub) as a part of the stretch between Gullmarsplan and Stureby. In 1958 the station was renamed as Isstadion station (after the nearby Johanneshovs Isstadion, now known as Hovet). The station acquired its current name on 20 August 1989 and is the only one in the system to have had more than two names. The distance to Slussen is 3 km (1.9 mi). There is a track connection to Tvärbanan just north of Globen metro station, and Tvärbanan has track connection to the railway, which is used for deliveries of new metro trains. According to plans presented in the spring of 2015, this station and the adjacent Enskede gård station, which are both above ground, will be replaced by a single underground metro station called Slakthusområdet in the future. This change will be made when this branch of the Green line is to be transferred to be a branch of the Blue line when the latter line is extended to the south side of the city, expected to be completed sometime in 2030.

Gullmarsplan metro station is a station on the Green line of the Stockholm metro and the Tvärbanan light rail line, located by Gullmarsplan in Johanneshov, Söderort. The station was opened for trams in 1946 after the construction of Skanstullsbron, and converted to Metro usage on 1 October 1950 (on the first line from Slussen south to Hökarängen). On 9 September 1951, an extension south to Stureby was opened. The distance from Slussen is 2.3 km (1.4 mi). Gullmarsplan is the busiest metro station in Söderort with 38,750 boarding passengers per day in 2019.A new platform for the Blue line will be added to Gullmarsplan station, as part of the project to transfer the Hagsätra branch of the Green line to the Blue line. It will be situated underground 70 metres (230 ft) below the existing Green line platforms, and will therefore only be linked to the existing station by lifts (no escalators). The new platform will also have an exit (with escalators and lifts) to Mårtensdal in Hammarby sjöstad. Opening is planned for 2030.

Gullmarsplan (pronunciation) is a place in Johanneshov, Stockholm. The square there was built at the same time the new city area was developed in the 1940s. The business area around the square was inaugurated in 1946. It was named after Gullmarn, a fjord in the province of Bohuslän, at Lysekil. The Skanstullsbron (Skanstull bridge) and Johanneshovsbron (Johanneshov bridge) connect Gullmarsplan by road with Södermalm, a part of the city center. Beneath Gullmarsplan, the road tunnel Södra länken runs in an east-west direction. Just south of Gullmarsplan is the Söderstadion football stadium as well as the Avicii Arena (Globen).

Fredriksdalsbron is a bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. Serving the light rail line Tvärbanan, it stretches north from the station west of the Gullmarsplan metro station, immediately makes a sharp eastward turn to plunge under two other bridges, Skanstullsbron and Johanneshovsbron, to continue eastward over a viaduct leading down to the station Mårtensdal in the newly built suburb Hammarby sjöstad. During the planning process the project name "Kvarnbron" (Mill Bridge) was used. The bridge was built by Nordic Construction Company (NCC) in 2000–2002 as the first part of an extension of the light rail. 379 metres in length, it rests on 15 pillars of which 2 are anchored into the bedrock while the others are steel point-bearing piles. The bridge deck is formed as a non-tensioned reinforced concrete tray rounded underneath. Abutments and revetments are dressed in slate. The maximum span is 30 metres, and the width varies from 9.4 to 11.4 metres. The longest pillar is slightly more than 20 metres, resting on a foundation mainly composed by poles up to 35 metres in length.

Skanstullsbron (Swedish: "The Fortlet Tollgate Bridge") is a bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. Overpassing the older bridge Skansbron, it connects the major island Södermalm to the southern district Johanneshov. The first proposal for an elevated bridge stretching over the canal Hammarbykanalen was produced in 1921, before work on the lower Skansbron bridge began in 1923. It remained the favoured bridge design to solve the increasing traffic load of the area during the 1920s and 1930s and was approved by the city council in 1939. World War II led to shortage of both finance and material, but work was started in 1944 and the new bridge was inaugurated in 1947.Skanstullsbron is a concrete double viaduct, with one bridge for vehicles and pedestrians and the other for the metro. Its total length is 574 metres of which 403 metres consists of the 16 spans of the southern beam bridge. The three central spans, 118, 112, and 106 metres long, offer a maximum horizontal clearance of 32 metres and a panoramic view of the surrounding city.

Johanneshovsbron (Swedish: "The Johanneshov Bridge") is a 756 metres long and 17,9 metres wide road bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. Overpassing two older bridges, Skansbron and Skanstullsbron, and one newer bridge, Fredriksdalsbron, it connects Södermalm and the tunnel passing under it, Söderledstunneln, to Johanneshov, the district immediately south of the historical city centre, and national road 73, leading out of the city. Brought about by the construction of the tunnel, Johanneshovsbron forms part of one of the major roads passing through the central city, extending north over Centralbron. Running south form the mouth of Söderledstunneln to the west of Skanstull, the bridge runs uphill and somewhat in parallel to Skanstullsbron for some 500 metres before it turns east to pass over its neighbour, between which ramps it finally extends into road 37 underneath the roundabout at Johanneshov.The bridge is made of prestressed concrete, has an average span of 51 metres (max 55,7 metres), and was inaugurated on 9 October 1984.
