Żywiec Landscape Park (Żywiecki Park Krajobrazowy) is a protected area (Landscape Park) in southern Poland. It was established in 1986 and covers an area of 359 square kilometres (139 sq mi). The Park lies within Silesian Voivodeship and is named after the town of Żywiec.

Novoť (Hungarian: Novoty) is a village and municipality in Námestovo District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia. The beginnings of the village date back to 1691, it belonged to the Orava Castle. Initially, the village was known under the name Jurkov. In addition to agriculture, the population in the past was engaged in the cultivation of flax, the production of shingles and canvas, logging and the production of wooden dishes. Novoť is one of the younger Zamagura municipalities, it was originally named after its founder Jurčákov. Trenches built by the German army before the end of World War II have been preserved in the cadastre of the village. There are 16 chapels, crosses and shrines in the village and in the village. Similar to Oravská Lesná and Zákamenné, the village is inhabited by scattered buildings. It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south-east of Węgierska Górka, 13 km (8 mi) south of Żywiec, and 76 km (47 mi) south of the regional capital Katowice.

Milówka [miˈlufka] is a village in Żywiec County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland (historic province of Lesser Poland). It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Milówka. It lies It is situated in the Żywiec Beskids mountain range, approximately 18 kilometres (11 mi) south-west of Żywiec and 78 km (48 mi) south of the regional capital Katowice. Polish musical group Golec uOrkiestra hails from here. Milówka was first mentioned in 1537, when this part of the Kingdom of Poland belonged to Lesser Poland's Kraków Voivodeship. Mountains and hills of the Beskids, which were covered by dense forests, were at that time settled by Polish farmers, who gradually moved southwards along the Soła river. After the Poles, in the second half of the 16th century, came shepherds from Wallachia, who in the course of the time assimilated with Polish population. In 1772 (see Partitions of Poland) Milówka was annexed by the Austrian Empire, and became part of the province of Galicia, where it remained until late 1918. According to the Austrian census of 1900, the village had the population of 2,678, with 93% Catholics, and 6.5% Jews. Until 1975 Milówka was administratively tied with Kraków (with the exception of World War II, when it was directly annexed into the Third Reich). Among points of interest there is a Regional Museum, with a wooden peasant house from 1739, and a parish church (1834).

Its seat is the village of Milówka, which lies approximately 17 kilometres (11 mi) south-west of Żywiec and 77 km (48 mi) south of the regional capital Katowice. The gmina covers an area of 98.33 square kilometres (38.0 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 10,052.
