Stogniowice [stɔɡɲɔˈvit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Proszowice, within Proszowice County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland.

Szczejkowice [ʂt͡ʂɛi̯kɔˈvit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Czerwionka-Leszczyny, within Rybnik County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) south of Czerwionka-Leszczyny, 10 km (6 mi) east of Rybnik, and 29 km (18 mi) south-west of the regional capital Katowice.

Bełk [bɛu̯k] (German: Belk) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Czerwionka-Leszczyny, within Rybnik County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south of Czerwionka-Leszczyny, 13 km (8 mi) north-east of Rybnik, and 25 km (16 mi) south-west of the regional capital Katowice. The village has an area of 15.43 km2 and a population of 3,358.

Czuchów (German: Czuchow) is a dzielnica (district) of Czerwionka-Leszczyny, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland. It was an independent village, but became administratively part of Leszczyny in 1955, renamed to Czerwionka-Leszczyny in 1992. It has an area of 9,07 km2.

Przegędza [pʂɛˈɡɛnd͡za] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Czerwionka-Leszczyny, within Rybnik County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Czerwionka-Leszczyny, 8 km (5 mi) north-east of Rybnik, and 31 km (19 mi) south-west of the regional capital Katowice.

Gmina Czerwionka-Leszczyny is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Rybnik County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. Its seat is the town of Czerwionka-Leszczyny, which lies approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) north-east of Rybnik and 24 km (15 mi) west of the regional capital Katowice. The gmina covers an area of 115.65 square kilometres (44.7 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 42,152. The gmina contains part of the protected area called Rudy Landscape Park.

Czerwionka-Leszczyny [t͡ʂɛrˈvʲɔŋka lɛʂˈt͡ʂɨnɨ] (German: Czerwionka-Leschczin) is a town in Silesian Voivodeship in southern Poland. It is the only town in Rybnik county (which is separate from Rybnik city) and the seat of the larger Czerwionka-Leszczyny municipality which also includes 6 villages. Czerwionka-Leszczyny was created by a merger of two towns (Czerwionka and Leszczyny) and two villages (Czuchów and Dębieńsko), which to this day maintain their separate identities. As of December 2021, the town has a population of 27,683.A former mining town, it has transformed into a commuter town for the nearby cities of Rybnik, Gliwice and Katowice.

Dębieńsko (German: Dubensko) is a dzielnica (district) of Czerwionka-Leszczyny, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland. It was an independent village, but became administratively part of Leszczyny in 1977, renamed to Czerwionka-Leszczyny in 1992. It has an area of 15,01 km2.Historically Dębieńsko was subdivided into two municipalities: Dębieńsko Stare (German: Alt Dubensko, lit. Old Dębieńsko), Dębieńsko Wielkie (German: Gross Dubensko, lit. Great Dębieńsko);

The Szczygłowice coal mine is a large mine in the south of Poland in Knurów, Silesian Voivodeship, 304 km south-west of the capital, Warsaw. Szczygłowice represents one of the largest coal reserve in Poland having estimated reserves of 300 million tonnes of coal. The annual coal production is around 3.8 million tonnes. On 31 July 2014, Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa acquired the mine from Kompania Węglowa.
