Gmina Herby is a rural gmina (municipality) in Lubliniec County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. Its seat is the village of Herby, which lies approximately 17 kilometres (11 mi) north-east of Lubliniec and 57 km (35 mi) north of the regional capital Katowice. Until 1993 it also included the area which now makes up Gmina Boronów. The gmina covers an area of 50.47 square kilometres (19.5 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 6,808. The gmina contains part of the protected area called Upper Liswarta Forests Landscape Park.

The gmina covers an area of 56 square kilometres (21.6 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 3,416. The gmina contains part of the protected area called Upper Liswarta Forests Landscape Park.
