Wiśnicze [viɕˈnit͡ʂɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Wielowieś, within Gliwice County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Wielowieś, 24 km (15 mi) north of Gliwice, and 42 km (26 mi) north-west of the regional capital Katowice. The name of the village is of Polish origin and comes from the word wiśnia, which means "cherry".
