The São Paulo Museum of Art (Portuguese: Museu de Arte de São Paulo, or MASP) is an art museum located on Paulista Avenue in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It is well known for its headquarters, a 1968 concrete and glass structure designed by Lina Bo Bardi, whose main body is supported by two lateral beams over a 74 metres (243 ft) freestanding space, considered a landmark of the city and a main symbol of modern Brazilian architecture.The museum is a non-profit institution founded in 1947 by Assis Chateaubriand and Pietro Maria Bardi. MASP distinguished itself for many important initiatives concerning museology and art education in Brazil, as well as for its pioneering role as a cultural center. It was also the first Brazilian museum interested in post-World War II art. The museum is internationally recognized for its collection of European art, considered the finest in Latin America and all Southern Hemisphere. It also houses an emphatic assemblage of Brazilian art, prints and drawings, as well as smaller collections of African and Asian art, antiquities, decorative arts, and others, amounting to more than 8,000 pieces. MASP also has one of the largest art libraries in the country. The entire collection was placed to the Brazilian National Heritage list by Brazil's Institute of History and Art.

The Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP) is a Brazilian industry entity. FIESP is affiliated with the National Industry Confederation (CNI). FIESP has 52 representative units in the state of São Paulo, representing 133 employer's trade unions and 130,000 industries.The federation is located in the city of São Paulo. The São Paulo industry building is the location of the Center of Industries of the State of São Paulo (CIESP), the Social Service of the Industry of São Paulo (SESI-SP), the National Service for Industrial Training of São Paulo (SENAI-SP), the Roberto Simonsen Institute (IRS) and the headquarters of several affiliated unions. Skaf was elected president of the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP) in 2004. He was re-elected in 2007 and then in 2011 and 2017 again remaining in office until December 31, 2021.In June 2014, the entrepreneur Benjamin Steinbruch, CEO of the National Steel Company (CSN) and Vicunha Group became president of FIESP, replacing Skaf, who is running for the state of São Paulo government.In July 2021, businessman Josué Gomes da Silva was elected president of CIESP and Rafael Cervone Netto 1st vice president, along with the new board for the 2022-2025 quadrennium.

The Hospital Sírio-Libanês (Syrian-Lebanese Hospital) is one of the most important hospitals in Brazil and South America. The hospital was founded by the large Syrian and Lebanese community of São Paulo in 1921. It is one of the most well-known health facilities in Brazil due to the high quality of care.

Trianon–Masp is a station on Line 2 (Green) of the São Paulo Metro. The acronym "MASP" stands for São Paulo Museum of Art, and the name "Trianon" is from the Trianon Park, both south of the station.

Paulista Avenue (Avenida Paulista in Portuguese, Paulista being the demonym for those born in the state of São Paulo) is one of the most important avenues in São Paulo, Brazil. It stretches 2.8 kilometres (1.7 mi) and runs northwest to southeast. Its northwest point is Praça Marechal Cordeiro de Farias (pt) at its intersection with Rua da Consolação (pt) and its southeast point is Praça Oswaldo Cruz (pt) at its intersection with Treze de Maio, Bernardino de Campos, Desembargador Eliseu Guilherme, and Dr. Rafael de Barros avenues. Major crossroads on the street are Rua Augusta, Rua Haddock Lobo (pt) and Avenida Brigadeiro Luis Antonio (pt). Parallel to it are Cincinato Braga, Joaquim Eugenio de Lima on the Bela Vista/Paraíso side and Alameda Santos and Coronel Oscar Freire on the Jardins side. Paulista Avenue crosses sections of the neighborhoods of Paraíso, Bela Vista (pt), Jardim Paulista, Cerqueira César (pt) and Jardim América (pt), ending in Higienópolis. The headquarters of many financial and cultural institutions are located on Paulista Avenue. As a symbol of the center of economic and political power of São Paulo, it has been the focal point of numerous political protests beginning in 1929 and continuing into the 21st century. It is also home to an extensive shopping area and to South America's most comprehensive fine-art museum, the São Paulo Museum of Art. Being one of the highest points in São Paulo, it is clustered with radio and television masts, most notably that of TV Gazeta. Paulista Avenue is a major hub of the subway and bus lines of the city.

Edifício Grande Avenida or Grande Avenida Building is a building located at 1754 Avenida Paulista in São Paulo, Brazil. The building was founded in 1964. Characterized by one of the remarkable architectural styles in town, the building sustained two fires during its history. The first was minor and took place in 1969. The second fire in 1981 killed 17 people and led to an investigation which found the building layout to be responsible for the fire.

Parque Trianon (officially Parque Tenente Siqueira Campos) is a park located on Paulista Avenue in São Paulo, Brazil.

Bela Vista (also known as Bexiga or Bixiga) is one of the most traditional Italian neighborhoods in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It belongs to the borough of Sé, and it has been a mixed neighborhood since its beginning, where free African-Brazilians and/or a mixture of Native-Brazilians, Blacks and Portuguese descendants lived. Later, more European immigrants arrived, such as Spaniards, Germans, English, French, Belgians, and Italians. Faculdade Cásper Líbero (FCL) is a private college in São Paulo, Brazil. Founded in 1947 by Brazilian journalist Cásper Líbero, it is the oldest journalism school in Latin America. The university offers courses on journalism, broadcasting, advertising and public relations. Faculdade Cásper Líbero is a leading communications school in Brazil. It ranked as the best private communications school in the country on Folha de S. Paulo's University Ranking.

The Memória do Bixiga Museum is located in São Paulo, Brazil, and tells the story of the region's Italian immigrants. Founded in 1981, it is one of the city's oldest museums and is located in a typical 20th century building at 118 Rua dos Ingleses. It was closed from 2005 to 2010, but later reopened to the public.

Rua Augusta is a street in São Paulo, Brazil, connecting the neighborhood of Jardins to the city's downtown. The upper part of the street, near Jardins is known as an upscale shopping street; the stretch known as Baixo Augusta (Lower Augusta), between the Paulista Avenue and Praça Roosevelt, is known by its nightlife, with clubs, bars and live music venues.

Teatro Ruth Escobar is a theatre in São Paulo, Brazil. It is named for the actress, Ruth Escobar, who founded the theater in 1963.
