Waddinxveen Triangel railway station is a railway station in Waddinxveen, South Holland, Netherlands that opened on 12 February 2018. It is situated on the Gouda–Alphen aan den Rijn railway, which connects Gouda and Alphen aan den Rijn, 1,5 kilometre south of Waddinxveen railway station. Trains running on the line are R-net Stadler FLIRTs.

Zevenhuizen is a village in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is located about 12 km northeast of the city of Rotterdam. Zevenhuizen was a separate municipality until 1991, when it merged with Moerkapelle to form the new municipality of Moerhuizen (renamed in 1992 to Zevenhuizen-Moerkapelle). Since 2010 Zevenhuizen-Moerkapelle is part of the new municipality of Zuidplas. It lies between the highway A12 and A20. The Rotte (river) also goes past it and it lies in the Tweemanspolder, Zuidplaspolder and the Eendragtspolder. It is surrounded by the villages Moerkapelle, Waddinxveen, Moordrecht, Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, Lansingerland, and the neighborhood Nesselande (located in Rotterdam) and Oud Verlaat.

Zevenhuizen-Moerkapelle (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈzeːvə(n)ɦœyzəˌmuːrkaːˈpɛlə] (listen)) is a former municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. The municipality was formed on January 1, 1991, through the merger of Moerkapelle and Zevenhuizen. It was initially called Moerhuizen before being renamed to Zevenhuizen-Moerkapelle on February 1, 1992.The municipality joined the new municipality of Zuidplas on January 1, 2010. It consisted of the population centres of Moerkapelle, Oud Verlaat, and Zevenhuizen.

Moerkapelle is a small town in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is located about 6 km east of the city of Zoetermeer, in the municipality of Zuidplas. Moerkapelle was a separate municipality between 1817 and 1991, when it merged with Zevenhuizen, to create a new municipality originally called "Moerhuizen". In 1992, it changed its name to Zevenhuizen-Moerkapelle.Its name is derived from the combination of moeras (swamp) and kapel (chapel).

Waddinxveen (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌʋɑdɪŋksˈfeːn] (listen)) is a town and municipality along the Gouwe river in the western Netherlands in the province of South Holland near Gouda. The municipality had a population of 28,316 in 2019 and covers an area of 29.40 km2 (11.35 sq mi) of which 1.63 km2 (0.63 sq mi) is water. In Waddinxveen, there's the so-called 'Vergeten Plek' (Dutch for 'Forgotten Place'). This is the lowest place in the Dutch polders. It's 7.01 meters below Amsterdam Ordnance Datum.

Nesselande is a station on Line B of the Rotterdam Metro and is situated in Rotterdam-Nesselande. It is the northern terminus of the line. The station, designed by architect Hans Moor, was opened on 29 August 2005 as part of the one-station extension of the East-West Line or Caland Line from its previous terminus De Tochten. Unlike the section between Capelsebrug and De Tochten, this section does not use overhead wires to provide traction power, but uses a third rail instead. The station consists of one island platform between two tracks.

Nesselande is a new extension on the east side of the city of Rotterdam, in South Holland, the Netherlands. It is part of the borough of Prins Alexander, formerly Zevenhuizen-Moerkapelle. Nesselande consists of three development areas: Tuinstad, Badplaats and Waterwijk. On the south side, located near the A20 motorway, there is a modest business park which forms a logical buffer between the motorway and the housing. Within the new development, an ecological park known as Rietveldpark provides for natural elements. Line B of the Rotterdam Metro was extended to the area in 2005.

Within the boundaries of this municipality lies the lowest point of the Netherlands: 6.76 m (22.2 ft) below Amsterdam Ordnance Datum (mean summer sea level in Amsterdam). It is the hometown of Miss Universe 1989, Angela Visser.

Boskoop Snijdelwijk railway station is a railway station in Boskoop, South Holland, Netherlands that opened on 10 December 2017. It is located on the Gouda–Alphen aan den Rijn railway, which connects Gouda and Alphen aan den Rijn, between Boskoop and Waddinxveen Noord stations.

Boskoop (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈbɔskoːp] (listen)) is a town in the province of South Holland. It was a separate municipality until it merged into Alphen aan den Rijn in 2014. The town had a population of 15,050 in 2012 and covers an area of 7.29 km2 (2.81 sq mi) of which 1.39 km2 (0.54 sq mi) is water. It's the world's biggest joined floriculture area. Boskoop is famous for its nurseries, particularly woody plant and perennial nurseries, of which some 774 are situated on long stretches of land, divided by narrow canals. Before World War II almost all transport was conducted using narrow boats. A few exceptionally high footbridges crossing some of the broader (main) canals remain from these days. Between the World Wars the transition was made from fruit culture to decorative garden plants and trees. As a source of technical knowledge about the art of growing decorative plants, Boskoop remains world-renowned and unique. The name "Boskoop" has been given to an apple cultivar (Belle de Boskoop) which is widely distributed in the Low Countries, to a grape variety (Boskoop Glory) and also to a variety of Calluna (Boskoop) and Weigela (Boskoop Glory) and blackcurrant ("Boskoop Giant").
