Nagymaros (German: Großmarosch, Slovak: Veľká Maruša) is a town in Pest county, Hungary.

Visegrád (Hungarian: [ˈviʃɛɡraːd]; German: Plintenburg; Latin: Pone Navata or Altum Castrum; Slovak: Vyšehrad) is a castle town in Pest County, Hungary. It is north of Budapest on the right bank of the Danube in the Danube Bend. It had a population of 1,864 in 2010. The town is the site of the remains of the Early Renaissance summer palace of King Matthias Corvinus of Hungary and a medieval citadel.

There are hiking possibilities to Prédikálószék, Rám-szakadék, and Árpádvár. Nearby larger settlements are Dömös and Szentendre. Dobogókő is also a pilgrimage site for Hungarian neopagans (followers of the revived Táltos faith, that is similar to shamanism) who believe that the place is the "heart chakra" of the earth.

Dunabogdány (German: Bogdan; Latin: Cirpi) is a village in Pest County, Budapest metropolitan area, Hungary. The population consisted of 3,198 inhabitants in 2023. In 2011 the settlement had a population of 3200. During the 2011 census, 89.3% of the residents identified themselves as Hungarian, 26.7% as German, 0.8% as Romanian, 0.5% as Romani, and 0.2% as Serb (10.6% did not declare). The religious distribution was as follows: Roman Catholic 62.8%, Reformed 10.3%, Lutheran 0.7%, Greek Catholic 0.4%, non-denominational 7.4% and 17.4% did not declare.

Pilis Abbey (Hungarian: pilisi apátság) was a Cistercian monastery in the Pilis Hills in the Kingdom of Hungary. It was founded in 1184 by monks who came from Acey Abbey in France at the invitation of Béla III of Hungary. It was dedicated to the Virgin Mary.
