Szob (Hungarian: Szobi járás) is a district in northern part of Pest County. Szob is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Central Hungary Statistical Region.

Zebegény is a picturesque historic village in Pest county, Hungary. It is located 60 km north of Budapest in the Danube Bend, next to the Duna-Ipoly National Park. It is a favourite destination for tourists, who love the quiet and the fresh air. Due to its nice beaches, mountains, and forests, the village was nicknamed "The marble of the Danube Bend".

Its source is in central Slovakia in the Slovak Ore Mountains. It flows south to the Hungarian border, and then southwest, west, and again south along the border until it flows into the Danube near Szob. The Ipeľ flows through or creates the border of the Banská Bystrica and Nitra regions in Slovakia, and Nógrád and Pest counties in Hungary.

Pilis Mountains is a mountainous region in the Transdanubian Mountains. Its highest peak is Pilis-tető at 756 meters (2,480 ft). It is a popular hiking destination in Hungary.It is the direct southern neighbour of the Visegrád Mountains which are based on volcanic rocks while Pilis is sedimentary.

Chľaba (Hungarian: Helemba) is a village and municipality in the Nové Zámky District in the Nitra Region of south-west Slovakia.

Dobogókő is a popular tourist area near Pilisszentkereszt in Hungary, and the site of the highest point in the Visegrád Hills at 699 meters. 133 people live here. Up in the hills lies the Ödön Téry Memorial, a stone pyramid built in memory of one of great pioneers of Hungarian tourism. In Dobogókő there is a tourist museum and accommodation. There are hiking possibilities to Prédikálószék, Rám-szakadék, and Árpádvár. Nearby larger settlements are Dömös and Szentendre. Dobogókő is also a pilgrimage site for Hungarian neopagans (followers of the revived Táltos faith, that is similar to shamanism) who believe that the place is the "heart chakra" of the earth.

Wonkwangsa International Zen Temple (Chinese: 元光寺, Korean: 원광사, English: Temple of Original Light) is a Korean-tradition zen temple and monastery located in Búbánatvölgy, a valley near Esztergom, Hungary. The temple is currently run by the Abbot Chong An Sunim. There are lay residents living in the temple that perform various functions, such as Kitchen Master, Head Dharma-Teacher, Garden Master or Moktak Master. Fundraising for the project started in 2005. A considerable part of the donations are from Buddhist laypeople and temples from Korea. The purchase of the first parcels and the construction of the temple started in November, 2006 with a Master-beam Raising Ceremony of the Zen Hall. The building of the Zen Hall finished and the Foundation-Stone Ceremony of the new Buddha Hall was in April, 2010. The land owned by the temple (as of 2011) is about 2 ha (4.9 acres). The planned final size of the temple area is 5 ha (12 acres). The Zen Hall is built in traditional Korean architectural style. Wonkwangsa is the only architecturally traditional Korean temple in Europe.Wonkwangsa Temple has strong connections to the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. In 2020, the abbot and the temple joined the Taego Order of Korean Buddhism.
