Verőce is a village and commune in Pest County in Hungary. From 1976 to 1990 the village of Verőce was merged with the village of Kismaros, to create a new merged settlement called Verőcemaros. This settlement was disestablished in 1990, when the two villages were again separated and Verőce again became a separate settlement.

Leányfalu is a riverside village in Pest county, Budapest metropolitan area, Hungary. It is just north of Szentendre located at 47°43′36″N 19°5′22″E. Located between the branch of the Little Danube (Kis-Duna) and the spurs of the Visegrád Mountains, Leányfalu stretches some 5 kilometres in length. It was declared a holiday resort in 1936 and became an independent municipality in 1949.To visit Leányfalu from Budapest, take the local Volán buses on the Budapest Újpest-Városkapu – Tahitótfalu – Visegrád – Esztergom line, which leaves around one to three times per hour. By automobile, take route 11 passing through Szentendre.

The Hungarian Open Air Museum (Hungarian: Szentendrei Szabadtéri Néprajzi Múzeum) is Hungary’s largest outdoor collection, founded in 1967. The open-air museum shows Carpathian folk architecture and life in various areas of Hungary. Inspired by the creation of Skansen, established in Stockholm in 1891, the Hungarian facility in Szentendre was founded in 1967 after years of preparation by ethnographers. Opened as the "Village Museum Department" of the Budapest Ethnographic Museum, in 1972 it became independent. The museum has an area of 46 hectares at Sztaravoda.
