Parc de Saint-Cloud

The Château de Saint-Cloud was a château in France, built on a site overlooking the Seine at Saint-Cloud in Hauts-de-Seine, about 5 kilometres (3 miles) west of Paris. On the site of the former palace is the state-owned Parc de Saint-Cloud. The château was expanded by Phillipe of France, Duke of Orléans in the 17th century, and by Marie Antoinette in the 1780s. After occupation by Napoleon I and Napoleon III, it was destroyed in 1870 during the Franco-Prussian War.

The railway of the Prince Imperial (French: Chemin de fer du Prince impérial) was the first documented model railway in the world.

The canton of Saint-Cloud is an administrative division of the Hauts-de-Seine department in northern France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Saint-Cloud.It consists of the following communes: Garches Marnes-la-Coquette Saint-Cloud Vaucresson Ville-d'Avray

France Crowning Art and Industry (French: La France couronnant l'Art et l'Industrie) is a 6.50 m (21 ft) tall limestone sculpture group which decorated the top of the entrance of Palais de l'Industrie, the main building of the 1855 international exhibition in Paris. It was moved to the park of Saint-Cloud in 1900 when the Palais de l'Industrie was demolished. The center group, composed of the three allegories (France, Art and Industry) is a work by sculptor Élias Robert. The two putti groups located on its sides are by Georges Diebolt. The wreaths France was carrying in her hands and most of the rays of the radiant crown she wears have been lost.

Saint-Cloud (French pronunciation: ​[sɛ̃ klu]) is a commune in the western suburbs of Paris, France, 9.6 kilometres (6.0 miles) from the centre of Paris. Like other communes of Hauts-de-Seine such as Marnes-la-Coquette, Neuilly-sur-Seine and Vaucresson, Saint-Cloud is one of France's wealthiest towns, with the second-highest average household income of communities with 10,000 to 50,000 households. In 2019, it had a population of 30.012.

The René Huguenin Hospital is a renowned teaching hospital in Saint-Cloud. Part of the Curie Institute and a teaching hospital of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines University.Established in 2010, it was named in honour of René Huguenin, Professor of Pathology and Director of the Institut Gustave Roussy.

Île-de-France tramway Line 2 (T2; French: Ligne 2 du tramway d'Île-de-France) is part of the modern tram network of the Île-de-France region of France. It connects the commune of Bezons in the north to the Porte de Versailles Métro station in Paris in the south, serving Hauts-de-Seine and its La Défense business district.The line has a length of 17.9 km (11.1 mi) and 24 stations. The initial section between La Défense station and Issy–Val de Seine station, opened in July 1997, uses a former heavy rail line converted into light rail, whereas the further extensions on both ends opened in November 2009 and November 2012 feature segregated on-street running.

The pont de Saint-Cloud (Saint-Cloud Bridge) is a French bridge constructed of metal which crosses the Seine between the communes of Boulogne-Billancourt and Saint-Cloud in the French department of Hauts-de-Seine. The first pont de Saint-Cloud appeared in 841 because of a conflict between Charles the Bald et Lothaire I, and consisted of a wooden bridge supporting several mills. The Seine has been traversable from this location for twelve centuries, and tradition holds that no king of France has traversed it without suffering a sudden death. As a result, sovereigns have crossed the Seine by boat. The wooden bridge was demolished after the death of François I, and in 1556 his son Henri II constructed a new stone bridge consisting of eleven arches. This bridge was in turn demolished during the Second Fronde and replaced with a bridge made of wooden arches. Napoléon ordered its renovation in 1808, giving it a new width of 12.8 metres (14.0 yd). It was again reconstructed in 1940, expanded another 30 metres (33 yd) for a total width of 186 metres (203 yd). The single-piece deck crosses the entire river, supported by six columns of reinforced concrete. In order to facilitate circulation across the banks, underground passages have been built on the two sides of the river. A metro station on line 10 of the Paris Métro has been named after the bridge.

The International Bureau of Weights and Measures (French: Bureau international des poids et mesures, BIPM) is an intergovernmental organisation, through which its 59 member-states act together on measurement standards in four areas: chemistry, ionising radiation, physical metrology, and coordinated universal time. It is based in Saint-Cloud, Paris, France. The organisation has been referred to as IBWM (from its name in English) in older literature.

The Manufacture nationale de Sèvres is one of the principal European porcelain factories. It is located in Sèvres, Hauts-de-Seine, France. It is the continuation of Vincennes porcelain, founded in 1740, which moved to Sèvres in 1756. It has been owned by the French crown or government since 1759, and has always maintained the highest standards of quality. Almost immediately, it replaced Meissen porcelain as the standard-setter among European porcelain factories, retaining this position until at least the 19th century. Its production is still largely based on the creation of contemporary objects today. It became part of the Cité de la céramique in 2010 with the Musée national de céramique, and since 2012 with the Musée national Adrien Dubouché in Limoges.

Sèvres – Cité de la céramique (Sèvres City of Ceramics) is a French national ceramics museum located at the Place de la Manufacture, Sèvres, Hauts-de-Seine, a suburb of Paris, France. It was created in January 2010, from the merger of the Musée national de Céramique-Sèvres and the Manufacture nationale de Sèvres. The museum is open daily except Tuesday; an admission fee is charged. Access to the museum by public transportation is available from Tramway d'Île-de-France (Trans Val-de-Seine) station Musée de Sèvres on Tramway T2, and by Paris Métro station Pont de Sèvres on Line 9.

Internationale Deutsche Schule Paris (iDSP; French: École Allemande Internationale de Paris) is a German international school in Saint-Cloud, France, in the Paris metropolitan area. The school serves levels kindergarten through Sekundarstufe II.On 23 October 1958 the first stone for the school was laid. On 3 November of that year the school first opened in three YMCA-owned rooms in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, in proximity to Trocadéro. The school initially only had gymnasium classes. On 1 December 1959 the school moved into rented rooms in a villa in Neuilly-sur-Seine. The primary school opened on 1 March 1960. The primary classes were initially held in another location in the 16th arrondissement. In 1961 all levels of school moved to the current location, a villa in Saint-Cloud. The West German government had acquired the property.
