Águas Santas

São Mamede de Infesta, or simply São Mamede, is a former civil parish in the municipality of Matosinhos in the Greater Porto area, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish São Mamede de Infesta e Senhora da Hora. It has a population of approximately 28,000 inhabitants and is located just north of the city of Porto.

Pedrouços is a Portuguese parish located in the municipality of Maia. The population in 2011 was 12,149, in an area of 2.57 km².The place of Pedrouços was the most important and populous of the Águas Santas parish. As an autonomous religious parish it has been in existence since 1928, but the civil parish status (Freguesia) was only given to it in 1985.

São Mamede de Infesta e Senhora da Hora is a civil parish in the municipality of Matosinhos, Portugal. It was formed in 2013 by the merger of the former parishes São Mamede de Infesta and Senhora da Hora. The population in 2011 was 50,869, in an area of 8.78 km².

Hospital de São João is a light rail station that is the terminus of line D of the Porto Metro system in Porto, Portugal. It is named after the nearby University Hospital of São João. It serves the hospital as well as the Asprela Campus of the University of Porto, and is a transfer point between the Metro and urban and suburban bus services. The station is followed by IPO station. The station platforms are on the surface, and are directly accessed from the street. There are two terminal tracks, each served by a side platform. Although the central section of line D opened in 2005, the IPO and Hospital de São João stations did not open until 31 March 2006, with the line terminating at Pólo Universitário station in the interim. This was because the Escola Superior de Enfermagem, a nursing school, objected to the new line because of safety concerns from the trains running near the entrance of the school. Before opening, the sidewalk was set back and a traffic light was placed at the intersection to reduce the risk of accidents between trains and cars. Between 29 August 2021 and 28 January 2022, the station was closed for a renovation project, which involved the construction of a covered interchange. During this period, alternate trains terminated at IPO and Pólo Universitário stations.

The University Hospital of São João (in Portuguese Centro Hospitalar Universitário de São João, abbreviated CHUSJ), or simply São João Hospital, is the biggest hospital in Northern Portugal and one of the biggest in Portugal. The hospital is named after John the Baptist, São João in Portuguese and has been operating since 1959. Its main facilities are located in Paranhos, Porto, where it hosts a medical school, the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto. Additionally, it manages a secondary hub in Valongo. The hospital provides direct medical care to the parishes of Bonfim, Paranhos, Campanhã e Aldoar, within the municipality of Porto, as well as to the neighbouring municipalities of Maia and Valongo. It also serves as a referral centre for the districts of Porto (except for Baião, Amarante and Marco de Canaveses), Braga and Viana do Castelo. Through the National Hospital Referral Network (Redes de Referenciação Hospitalar), it acts as a referral hospital for a broader geographic area of around 3.5 million people, particularly in highly specialised medical fields. It has 1,100 beds and over 6,000 employees, including approximately 1,500 physicians and 2,300 nurses. The University Hospital of Sâo João accounts for 20% of public hospital care in northern Portugal and in a year it performs approximately 40,000 surgeries, 750,000 consultations, 127,000 treatment sessions and handles 250,000 emergencies.

The Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC) is a research & development institute located on the campus of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (Portugal). INESC TEC is a private non-profit association, recognised as a Public Interest Institution and has been an Associate Laboratory since 2002. IPO is a station on Line D (yellow line) of the Porto Metro, Portugal. The station is at the northern end of the University of Porto campus and is named after the nearby Instituto Português de Oncologia (Portuguese Oncology Institute). Although Line D opened in 2005, the IPO and Hospital de São João stations did not open until March 2006. CardMobili is a European-based mobile application development company founded in 2009. The primary application of the company, also named CardMobili, provided a platform for managing customer loyalty programs via mobile phones. The application provided for digitizing and storing loyalty and membership cards, allowing their barcodes to be scanned directly from the device screen. It supported Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Phone 7, Windows Mobile, Nokia, Vodafone, and other brands. CardMobili and the Portuguese Bank Banco Espírito Santo collaborated to launch the world's first digital credit card.On April 30, 2016, the application was removed from app stores and online features ceased functioning.

The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Portuguese: Igreja do Sagrado Coração de Jesus) is a Modernist church in the civil parish of Ermesinde, in the municipality of Valongo, in the Portuguese district of Porto. The religious sanctuary actually goes by several names, including the Church of the Good Shepherd or Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a shrine dedicated to the worship of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
