Troed y Rhiw

Cribyn is a small village in Ceredigion, Wales, about 7 miles (11 km) north of Lampeter and with the villages of Troed y Rhiw, Mydroilyn and Dihewyd to the north.

Gorsgoch () is a small rural village located on the B4338 road near Lampeter in the county of Ceredigion, Wales. The town of Lampeter is 7 miles away and the town of New Quay is 15 miles away "Cors" (mutated to Gors) is Welsh for "marsh" or "bog", and "goch" is the mutated form of "coch" meaning "red": so the name literally translated means "Red Bog". This upland bog is located alongside the main road that leads through the village. The village is developing at a fast rate. New houses are being constructed and there are planning applications for more. Gorsgoch has a pub, Cefn-Hafod. The garages have been closed along with the school years ago. There is also a village hall that has been closed a few years; however, it is being refurbished. The village is served by the 617 bus, from Lampeter to Rhydowen, via Llanybydder, Gorsgoch, and Talgarreg which runs once every Tuesday.

Green Grove is a small village in the community of Llanfihangel Ystrad, Ceredigion, Wales, which is 64.9 miles (104.4 km) from Cardiff and 179.1 miles (288.2 km) from London. Green Grove is represented in the Senedd by Elin Jones (Plaid Cymru) and is part of the Ceredigion constituency in the House of Commons.

Dihewyd is a parish in the county of Ceredigion, West Wales with a population of about 200 people. It is 5 miles (8 km) from Aberaeron and 8 miles (13 km) (northwest by west) from Lampeter. This parish is situated near the Vale of Aëron and not far from the river Mydur. There is also a primary school in the village called Ysgol Gynradd Dihewyd which currently has about 30 pupils attending. Dihewyd no longer has a local shop, pub or post office - the nearest being three miles away at Ystrad Aeron and it only has one bus service (Bwcabus on Wednesdays) to the nearby harbour town of Aberaeron as well as a school bus taking pupils to Ysgol Gyfun Aberaeron. It does have a public telephone box (but it has had the phone removed) and, since October 2015, is connected to fibre broadband. It also has a chapel, church and village hall. Treberfedd is known as the highest point of Dihewyd as well as the highest point of central Ceredigion. Despite not having a local shop since 1876, the local primary school now has a Siop Sied open to the public. A shop inside a shed at the side of the school that trusts the members of the public to go into it and buy things without anyone actually managing the shop, people only supply it with things like eggs, fruit, vegetables etc.

Llanfihangel Ystrad (English "Vale of St Michael") is a constituent community in Ceredigion, Wales. It is named after the principal place of worship, St Michael's church at Ystrad Aeron.The total population of the community taken at the United Kingdom Census 2011 was 1,430.Villages within the community include Ystrad Aeron, Dihewyd, Cribyn and Temple Bar.

Cwrtnewydd, or Cwrt-newydd, or Cwrt Newydd, is a village in the community and parish of Llanwenog, towards the south of the county of Ceredigion, Wales. Cwrtnewydd is on the B4338 road, north of the A475, just to the west of the town of Lampeter and to the northwest of Llanybydder.

Felin Fach or Ystrad was a small railway station in the rural location between Ystrad Aeron and Felinfach, the intermediate station on the Aberayron branch of the Carmarthen to Aberystwyth Line in the Welsh county of Ceredigion. Opened by the Lampeter, Aberayron and New Quay Light Railway, the branch to Aberayron diverged from the through line at Lampeter.

Ystrad Aeron is a small village west of Felinfach on the A482 between Lampeter and Aberaeron, Ceredigion, Wales. It is part of the constituent community of Llanfihangel Ystrad.

Theatr Felinfach is a small regional theatre located outside the village of Ystrad Aeron in Dyffryn Aeron, about 7 miles from the university town of Lampeter in Ceredigion, Wales.Built in 1972, the theatre, which is supported by Ceredigion County Council and the Arts Council of Wales, has staged performances by drama, music and dance groups from across Britain but is perhaps best known for the many Welsh language plays and functions which it stages.It is a major centre of Welsh culture and language in Mid Wales and is one of only a small number of theatres devoted primarily to productions in Welsh.
