Almeda (Llobregat–Anoia Line)

Almeda is an area of Cornellà de Llobregat (Catalonia, Spain), in the metropolitan area of Barcelona. It was constructed in front of Parc de Can Mercader. The neighbourhood originated during the Industrial Revolution and grew substantially with the settlement of migrant workers from other areas of the country during the 1950s. Some of Cornellà's most important companies are located there. Its main business estates are Fira de Cornellà, WTC Almeda Park and the local branch of El Corte Inglés. Almeda has had a railway station since 1912, even though the current one was built in 1985. It is integrated in the Barcelona Metro network as part of line L8.

World Trade Center Almeda Park is an international trade, service and information centre in Cornellà de Llobregat (suburb of Barcelona), Catalonia, Spain. WTC Almeda Park has been in operation since June 2004. Currently consists of several buildings, it is planned to build a skyscraper (Hotel WTC Almeda Park) with 28 floors and rise 94 meters (308 ft).

The Mercader Palace Museum (Catalan: Museu Palau Mercader) in Cornellà de Llobregat contains more than 3,000 objects from the museum of the Count of Bell-lloc and is an example of the lifestyle and cultural and artistic tastes of an aristocratic family of the 19th century. It is located in the Palau Mercader (Mercader Palace), built in the 19th century by Josep Domínguez Valls, in an eclectic style. It was opened on 23 April 1995 and belongs to the Barcelona Provincial Council Local Museum Network.

Gavarra is a station on line 5 of the Barcelona Metro. The station is located underneath Avinguda Salvador Allende, between Carrer de l'Anoia and Carrer de l'Empordà, in Cornellà de Llobregat. It was opened in 1983. The side-platform station has a single ticket hall with two accesses.

Sant Ildefons is a station on line 5 of the Barcelona Metro. The station is located underneath Avinguda República Argentina, between Plaça Sant Ildefons and Carrer Camèlia, in Cornellà de Llobregat. It was opened in 1976 and served as the terminus of line 5 until the extension to Cornellà Centre in 1983. The side-platform station has a single ticket hall with two accesses.

RCDE Stadium, also known as Estadi Cornellà-El Prat (Catalan pronunciation: [əsˈtaði kuɾnəˈʎa əl ˈpɾat]; Spanish: Estadio Cornellà-El Prat [esˈtaðjo koɾneˈʎa el ˈpɾat]), is an all-seater football stadium on the outskirts of Cornellà de Llobregat and El Prat de Llobregat, in the wider Barcelona urban area (Catalonia, Spain). It took three years to build and cost approximately €60 million. Opened in August 2009, it was awarded as Venue of the Year getting the Stadium Business Awards on 18 June 2010 in Dublin.With a capacity of 40,000 seats. it is the 10th-largest stadium in Spain and the 3rd-largest in Catalonia. It became the home of RCD Espanyol in 2009, replacing their previous stadium, the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, being the 8th stadium in the club's history.

Unión Esportiva Cornellà, S. A. D. (Catalan: Unió Esportiva Cornellà) is a Spanish football team based in Cornellà de Llobregat, in the autonomous community of Catalonia. Founded in 1951 it plays in Primera División RFEF – Group 2, holding home games at RCDE stadium, which has a capacity of 40,000 spectators.

Mercat Marsans is one of the three public markets of Cornellà de Llobregat (Catalonia, Spain), located in La Gavarra neighborhood. It was opened on 25 September 1960, to manage the population growth that occurred in Cornellà in the late forties and early fifties, being the second market built in the city after Mercat del Centre. At first, it consisted of 71 Market stalls of different food products. It was built on municipal property that had previously been occupied by the old Cornellà rugby field. Previously, they had been part of a bigger estate that belonged to the Barcelona banker Lluís Marsans i Peix, of whom the current market and its square took name.

Cornellà de Llobregat (Catalan pronunciation: [kuɾnəˈʎa ðə ʎuβɾəˈɣat]; Spanish: Cornellá de Llobregat) is a municipality in the comarca of the Baix Llobregat in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the left bank of the Llobregat River. It is in the south-western part of the Barcelona metropolitan area and is part of the wider urban area. It houses one of the three La Liga football clubs from Catalonia, RCD Espanyol.

Can Boixeres is a station on line 5 of the Barcelona Metro. The station is located on an open-air section of track between Carrer de l'Estronci and Camí de Can Boixeres, just south of the Ronda de Dalt, in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. It was opened in 1976. This station is one of Barcelona's few above-ground metro stations, although the platforms and rails are roofed. The single ticket hall, with one access, is located on the second storey. There is a large train garage facility nearby.

Cornellà Riera is a railway station on the Llobregat–Anoia Line. It is located underneath Passeig dels Ferrocarrils Catalans, in the Cornellà de Llobregat municipality, to the south-west of Barcelona, in Catalonia, Spain. It is served by Barcelona Metro line 8, Baix Llobregat Metro lines S33, S4 and S8, and commuter rail lines R5, R6, R50 and R60. The station was opened in 1985, when the line's section between Sant Josep and Cornellà Riera stations was put underground. The original at-grade station dates from 1912, and the current underground station is more or less situated underneath it. Cornellà Riera serves as the main public transport access to RCD Espanyol's Cornellà-El Prat Stadium.

Cornellà Centre, also simply known as Cornellà, is a Rodalies de Catalunya and Barcelona Metro station, as well as Trambaix tram stop. It is located in the city centre of the Cornellà de Llobregat municipality, to the south-west of Barcelona, in Catalonia, Spain. It has been the southern terminus of Barcelona Metro line 5 since 1983, when it was opened. The Rodalies de Catalunya station is served by Barcelona commuter rail service lines R1 and R4. On the other hand, the Trambaix stop is served by routes T1 and T2. The original name of the Barcelona Metro station was simply "Cornellà", but it was renamed "Cornellà Centre" due to the fact that Gavarra and Sant Ildefons stations, all of them on Barcelona Metro line 5, are also located in the Cornellà de Llobregat municipality.
